Sold me a 2008 ****** ***** with a bad catalytic converter and the ABS, VSC and Brake lights came on just 2 days after purchase and now have a P0420. I was wondering why he was checking the car with a scanner after test driving it. Most likely he was clearing the codes before they showed themselves. Guys are scammers that sell junk cars.

BEWARE! FRAUDSTERS! Andre F*****i of Broadster's Roadsters in *** ********** *** and owned by Ron Pagano, lured us from ******* to Connecticut by advertising on ******** *********** a **** ***** ******* that is actually a 2006 . When we arrived at a store parking lot to see it, he presented a CT auto inspection form by Joseph H***** of Brodster's Roadsters showing the vehicle positive rates for all parts on of the list. However, the car broke down on I-91 a few hours later. An odd smell started to emit from the vehicle. My husband felt chest pain. A police person stopped to check on us and slowly escorted us to the *********** ** exit where we hoped to find help. A woman at convenience store gas pump yelled over to us that she could smell and hear our vehicle and told us our alternative was dying. The car's lights and electricity quit. She and a store clerk helped to manually push the vehicle into a parking space. The windowswere stuck down throughout that night's rainstorm. Despite taxis being closed for the night, fortunately a taxi driver happened to pull up for a lottery ticket. Seeing me standing outside the store at midnight, asked if I needed help. The local hotel was fully booked. We took the taxi to ** *********. In the morning the taxi drove us back to our dead car where the store clerk & the woman who hailed us the night before, kindly returned to the store & helped us to get it to a nearby ******* car repair shot across the street where the ******* shop owner squeezed our vehicle in for repair despite a full schedule. It took several hours and two mechanics and a bill of $711.91 to replace the alternator. We were able to drive home where we had *** *********** an auto repair service in E. D***** thoroughly inspected and photographed faults of the the *****, which they declared unsafe to drive and not passable for ** inspection. We called & asked for the return of our money.
Brodster's Roadsters hung up their phone. ****** * is right.
