      Dear BBB,

      I am filing a complaint against Jets Cleaners regarding the unsatisfactory cleaning/damaged property of my white nursing coat. Despite being in pristine condition when dropped off (never worn once – sole intention was to be pressed, as it was heavily wrinkled), I discovered "dirt" on entire right side after picking it up on 11/10/2023. Front staff member "Tory" claimed the dirt was present before my drop-off, a statement I dispute.

      Timeline and Updates:
      11/10: Notified Tory immediately upon pickup, dismissed without resolution at business.
      11/10: Took the coat to ********* ******** (another establishment within 1 hour), posted a Google review that evening.
      11/11: Owner Mike contacted me via text, refunded cleaning cost ($12.29) in agreement to delete Google review.
      11/16: Picked up coat from ********* ********, informed of permanent damage (likely dye transfer)
      11/17: Contacted Mike via text, requesting payment for damaged property ($147.66).

      Despite stating a typical protocol of re-cleaning, no such offer was made. I have still yet to be offered a re-clean despite Jet Cleaner's policy. I expressed a desire to resolve this amicably but received no response after my last text to Mike on 11/17.

      Tory's employment with Jet cleansers, 18 years per Mike, illustrates that she has been with the establishment for some time, has experience and knows the protocol which she failed to execute as part of their customer service.

      11/21/23 I have yet to receive any response from the business or the business owner Mike. I would happily include any and all correspondence to illustrate that I attempted to come to a resolution prior to contacting the BBB as a last resort.

      I am willing to settle for the cost of the new coat only ($147.66 – already pre-ordered) and will transfer the patch at my own expense, as well as the additional cleaning fee from ********* ********.
