    Have tried several times to reach proprietor Tom B***** of Joseph Furs **** ****** ****** *** ***** ** to pick up my furs, fur hats, fur suits, et al. in storage -before, during, and after pandemic, to no avail. Have called, but the phone just rings. Have written, but no response. At one point there was a for sale sign on building and then I went by again in hopes of reconciling the account and getting my property and the sign was removed. I have a receipt for merchandise in storage as well as letters written and check register payments. I just want to find out what balance is in an amiable manner and get what is rightfully mine. I have had a reasonable good relationship with this establishment up until this point. I would like to keep it this way. My lawyer said to contact you first.

    This client has not paid storage on the garments since 2017,we heard from her late 2023 if she reads the storage agreement all garments are to be paid yearly. To date her balance is $2400. Our building has new had a for sale sign on it!

    I have made three attempts to send all supporting documents regarding my claim against Joseph Furs. I'm not certain they have been processed.

     

    I have also checked emails and note that other than the original complaint and your decision to close my case, I don't seem to find an email regarding the response from Joseph Furs which claims falsely that they are owed $2400!!!

     

    I have all documents stating otherwise, but would rather settle this amicably. 

     

    If this is not the case, and I am forced to elevate it legally, I will ask for full return of all merchandise since the time it was requested [2017] (see certified letter with signature) plus legal fees.

    The storage agreement clearly states the charges per year in this case $300.00 and has not been paid since 2017. Which is 8 years for a total of $2400.00 they can provide you with a copy of the agreement which was given to them at the time they stored the garments. Also on the agreement is the policy for garments not paid by the end of the storage agreement which is the 31st of that year. If there are any questions I'd prefer to contact you by telephone.

    I stored my black glama mink coat almost 6 years ago and paid them a monthly fee for storage and have been trying to reach out by phone and email for the last 2 years and cannot get in touch with them nor received a response back. They are showing on ****** as “temporarily closed”. How have they not returned items to their customers or reached out prior to closing?? This coat is easily worth over $16K and I demand to have my coat shipped to me ASAP or a full refund of the worth of my coat. Please help or I will get my lawyer involved.

    In response to Ms ******* concern, we have not received communication with her since 2019. After a 3 year period we considered the coat abandoned. The storage is charged yearly not monthly and to date we have not received any payment for the last 6 years, please advise us how she wants to proceed. Before any shipment can be sent the past due balance plus a shipping charge will have to be paid in full.

    ?I am baffled by the claim “we have not received communication with her since 2019”.  I have attempted to call on numerous occasions for years and nobody ever answered the phone and is evidenced by multiple customer claims against this establishment. I also live out of state so driving by the location was never an option.  I know they have my contact info on file too and never made any attempt to reach out. 

    > I would like photos of my coat emailed to me to know they still have my coat and that it is in good condition before I cover shipping costs.

    Ms ****** stored her garment with us and received a storage agreement at that time, in the agreement it spells out the changes, which are not monthly but yearly, which means storage is to be paid every year the garment is in storage. She claims to have emailed us in 2023 but we have no records of that. Are question is why there was no communication from 2019 to 2023 and now she is claiming that we have done something wrong. To date we have not received any payment for 6 years that her garment has been stored. I will provide a telephone number that the BBB can contact me, the number is *** *** *****
