  We had an incredible experience with DBTJ on our very large home renovation project (kitchen, bathrooms, guest suite, living room, primary bedroom). Jonathan and all of the team were responsive and supportive throughout the process. They took our aesthetic and lifestyle into account and helped us design a home that is not only beautiful, but functional for our family. The firm coordinated with vendors and was clear and transparent about timelines and expectations through the whole process. I would not hesitate to recommend them for a redesign or renovation project!

  I would like to thank Design by the Jonathans, LLC and especially Lana for designing our bathroom remodel. She took 2 bathrooms in a 100 year old house and combined them into a stunning new bathroom that is functional yet beautiful. She was easy to work with and took all of concerns and questions into account. From the first meeting to the last walk through Lana went above and beyond making sure every detail was addressed. As well as a gorgeous design, Lana made sure it was a livable space and easy to clean. She helped us to bring our vision to reality. I can thank you enough Lana!

  Design by the Jonathans, and our designer Lana, were all amazing!. Lana created our dream kitchen and it is spectacular! All of the team, and contractors recommended, made the process go smoothly and now I smile every time I go into the room. Our home has a new updated life which is so refreshing and simply beautiful. I highly recommend working with this talented and accommodating team!!

  Jonathan and his team provided superior service with our large renovation (kitchen, living room, bathroom). Jonathan's attention to detail in his measurements and blueprints made it easy for our contractors. His vision of how we would use the space continues to impress, even 3 years after finishing construction. He was able to guide us in the design and shopping phases within the style that we were seeking. We certainly have the "wow factor" and sincerely enjoy the redesigned space. We continue to use them for additional renovations and interior designs in our house.

  We used Design by the Jonathans for our major kitchen renovation, and they were amazing! Now we have the kitchen of our dreams -- and the process of working with DbtJ was fantastic. They were honest, clear, helpful -- they did everything, from the design, to the implementation, to guiding us through the process. They are responsive and responsible. Their main office is extremely easy to work with, and they are friendly and creative.
  What I appreciated most was how they really worked with us to come up with a design, but they brought their expertise and aesthetic sense to give it that special something that you want from a designer! I am over-the-moon happy with them and their work. Thank you, Design by the Jonathans!

  We are shocked to receive this feedback months after the job was complete, especially when this client expressed multiple times, in writing, how happy she is with our work and the results. We have hundreds of emails and texts that fully prove the level of care and diligence provided to this client, and how happy this client professed to be. We would be happy to share these communications, as well as photos of the completed work if anyone should want to see it.
  An important thing to know is that this client did act in an abusive manner to DBTJ staff and the professionals that we recommended to handle installations and other work. Fits of anger, abusive language such as “you are terrible at your job, you should find another career path”, and other frankly astonishing behavior by the client were the norm throughout this project. After every incident, we then received praise for how wonderful everything is. This was a pattern that developed early on in the project, nevertheless, we pressed onward to ensure that this client would get a positive outcome, which was confirmed by the notes of happiness and praise that we received, until this review was posted, without warning and without discussion. The pattern of drastic swings from positive to negative and then back again is fully documented – we highly encourage prospective clients with questions about this particular project to reach out to us directly as we would be happy to share more details that we are not able to share here.
  We are an award-winning interior design firm who prides ourselves on professionalism and compassion for all projects, and we treated this client, who was abusive throughout the duration of the project, with respect and dignity only to be smeared online in return. The old adage “no good deed goes unpunished” seems to apply here.
