    On July 5th, I found an apartment located at *** * *** ****** **** **** ****** ** ***** via ******. I submitted a request to be contacted, and not long after, a leasing agent by the name of Amyella H***i (with Mandy Management) emailed me asking more information about myself and application. She then sent me the application for myself, and my sister to apply where we eventually had to pay $35 (each) for “screening”. A day later, we noticed that the apartment was listed as “Off the market” on ******, and furthermore confirmed it had been sold with “Seth” who also works for Mandy Management. I explained to Seth the whole reason we applied was because we were interested in that specific apartment, and that it wasn’t right that the leasing agent didn't let us know upon reaching out or taking our money that, the apartment had been sol already. Seth used the excuse that the company “sells 30 apartments a week, and can’t keep track because all the agents sell the same apartments”.. I communicated my frustrations and reached out to Amy to get our $70 back, as the apartment we wanted was sold without our knowledge. Amy stated the office declined to refund us, and that the screening fee is non-refundable.

    My issue with this is, you took our money for an apartment you knew was not available, and now will not refund us? It is practically stealing. We want a refund ASAP.

    I am a 1st floor tenant. For about 3weeks now I’ve been trying to call Mandy Management during work hours to get maintenance to fix a shower and loose transition strip between the kitchen and living room. I try calling during their work hours because no one is answering the phone and it doesn’t let me let a message ( I’ve call multiple time a day at different times and still no response) I call the after hours department and time after Time again they’ll supposedly make a ticket and pass the message on to the property maintenance but nothing becomes of it. For 3 weeks I’ve been calling after hours department just for them to pass a ticket that goes nowhere. I’ve gotten no return calls, no one has come by or anything. I’ve physically gone to their office and all they say is someone will be in touch with you. It the same routine but when Rent is due they’ll blow my phone up with emails and phone calls. The shower knob is broken I couldn’t stop it from running for 2 weeks up until I found out that If I put a screw it’ll stop it but I haven’t been able to use hot water for 3 weeks. Me and my family been taking ice cold to lukewarm showers. I think Some kind of business inspector should go there and see how they run and look into their paperwork and other customer complaints. I think they would find that this property management business is run poorly and shouldn’t be allowed to be kept in business. If they can’t service their tenants in a timely manner or ATLEAST give them an ETA of when a worker can get out to fix the problem they shouldn’t be in business. All I want a simply shower knob replacement so I can use my warm water and to have someone to Atleast re-secure the transition strip to the floor before some gets injured. They don’t give me ticket numbers they said they’re not allowed to which is a red flag. They are a snakey company so I’m sure they’ll make it seem like I haven’t told them or make it seem like it happened very recently. Also My rent is PAID!

    Mandy Management has allowed their tenants to harass us, cut down our trees, put up unpermitted fences /structures attached to our trees and our property. Mandy Management continues to dismiss this matter and permitting all these modifications. Their tenants have informed police Mandy Management continues to permit these modifications. Mandy Mandagement allowed their tenants to staple gun our trees with tarp and allowed their tenants rip out our trees on our property, which under ** state law it is completely illegal to do so without homeowner permission.(*********** ******* ******* *52-560) Mandy Management allowed their tenant to put up unpermitted fences higher than 6ft and structures with 2x4s with sharp two inch nails sticking out. We’re unable to see clearly when we pull out of our driveway due to the structures put up which is very dangerous. It is also so unsightly with the multicolored structures they have put up and the structures are so flimsy that the previous ice storm the 10ft attached structure broke so then they've added more tarps which is obstructing our view when pulling out of our driveway,. We've reported this to Mandy Management and also Town of ****** Zoning. These structures have sharp two inch nails that stick out facing our property which can easily fall and impale someone. The hoarding has gone out of control and they continue to dismiss this matter. Police reports have been filed and handed over to Mandy Management but they continue to ignore this. They've informed police they are armed security which police have told us directly these people are problematic and unsafe. We have young children in our home and my youngest is special needs. They have cameras pointed directly at our house along with the backyard. They have continuously made us feel unsafe in our own home.

    I am rejecting this response because: You took my money under the pretense that the unit was available then your reply was it was first come first serve if the unit is not available why are you asking for money if you have no product to deliver you took me through the whole process for a two bedroom which you did not have to offer that’s theft by taking.
