I would give NO stars, but minimum is one. The first time I got towed I was parked at my daughter’s parking complex. I parked on the tenant’s side so I deserved to get towed. However, they damaged my brake line because the car should have been towed on a flatbed, not having the front dragging. The damage could have been worse.
Yesterday, I did my daughter’s laundry because she is out on worker’s comp. I went in the apartment to drop the clothes off and then came right back out (less than TWO minutes later)! Dude had me hooked up. I told him he is NOT towing my car. NOT TODAY! He said it would cost me $100 to unhook it. I told him I’m not paying ONE CENT and I meant that. I told him to call the cops because he will be needing them if he thinks he’s taking my car. He said cops can’t and won’t do anything. I know buddy and neither will you! I stood in front of the tow truck and refused to move. He sat there for twenty minutes. I told him I have all night. I’m not on any clock. He looked desperate and dirty, like a crackhead. I even called him a crackhead because he was acting like one. I told him to call his boss so he could unhook me because at this time I was afraid for him. I have family that could MAKE him unhook it! When he saw that he was dead wrong for hooking my car up he unhooked it.
This company is NOT registered with the Better Business Bureau and they have an F rating! They are wreckless crooks. They wait for people to get out their cars and then they tow cars. They’re bullies, but I am not afraid of bullies. I’m from NEW YORK and we don’t play that. Connecticut residents wake up! Be more vigilant. I keep a Bible in my car on the driver’s side of the dash board. He had the nerve to say on the strength of the Bible I am going to give you a break! Really? No dude, on the strength of the Bible I am giving YOU a break! Trust me! He unhooked me and went on his way. It is WRONG to take advantage of people. Thank God I fear no man. York Towing, shame on you!

Unprofessional employees. Overall a bad towing company. Do not use them.
