    This is by far the best gun store in Connecticut. They are well stocked and the salesmen are knowledgeable and professional. Especially Mike and John Kelly.
    I have shopped Hoffman’s for 40 years and I can say when Dino was alive he was one supper human being and he did a good job with his son Scott.
    Scott is keeping with the great tradition of a top notch gun store.

    I'm a new concealed carry person because of what is happening in our country and decided to go to Hoffman's from what I saw from the pics on line. I purchased a handgun and waited for message when to pick it up.A few days later received text it was all set. Great. Drove there for an hour and arrived. Nice place ,very clean, organized. I just wish the people who worked there matched with the way it felt. Service was awful from the start. Two guys walking around behind service desk would look at me but continue walking away.Finally got a third person who I explained I was there to pick up my handgun.He gave me paperwork as he headed to a back room to return with a box that was crushed in the corner.I had a bad feeling even though the gun wasn't effected so I said nothing. I had missed a question on the paperwork and he said he could read it to me if I can't do it.Just the way it was said wrapped up the type of person I had just met. I planned on buying ammo, a holster and cleaning kit but did not end up doing it by the time I left. Just an ignorant person who gave me the overall feeling that they will never see me back there again.It was sad.
