    Filled out form to check in for one week stay. hotel charged my card twice. but yet the second time it printed out "declined" receipt. (because the first charge took the funds i transferred into that account)
    after they took the funds, i was denied a room due to "non payment" . but my bank shows Carrier MotorLodge took the $405 for funds, and charged my card a second time which led to the declined receipt (2 minutes after they took the $)
    the hotel is doing this to people so they have money to use upfront because they are struggling financially. i've reached out asking them for a letter to my bank stating they haven't held any funds, they refuse to provide a letter. or help in anyway for this transaction to be reversed. these ****** owners are up to some shady business. it's been 8 days and i still get no assistance from the motor lodge to provide me a refund.
    they later tell me, " we don't take cash app cards". i proceeded to ask why she charged it then, when it says ******* in big letters across the front of the card. and she had to explaination to why they took the card from me to charge it .
    i want my $405 back at the very least. never stepped foot in a room, never made it out of the office

    it's been 11 days since the incident,  they still have not refunded me my money, they refused to provide me any of the documents my bank asked for in order to resolve this matter.

    im living off a fixed income.  when i only get 500 a week, and i spend $405 at a hotel for me to sleep for the week (im from ** , here visiting since my dad passed away)  now i've been sleeping in my SUV, because this hotel kept the 405 that was charged, and never let me check in.

     

    she cursed me out when i called 4 days ago (one week after not receiving funds back) 

    she has no idea what she's talking about.
