    I am rejecting this response because:

    1) landscaper agreed to use the deposit against lawn cutting service.

    2) when the patio was finished, the landscaper failed to show up to provide weekly lawn service for both front and back.  I inquired and one explanation was that his small mower was in the shop being repaired so I said  I would get it cut and he would come the following week.  I never heard from him again.  He never communicated that he was no longer coming.  After waiting on him, I chose to stop waiting every day for someone who is not coming and terminated his service.

    Sorry, I do not accept his excuse for poor communication and no show.

    Hi in reference to complaint this is why we charge deposits is for reasons like this. Customer sat there beating me up on price trying to get it cheaper then what I quoted then said they would get back to me after I went down in the price. Then scheduled a time to do the job. Then customer calls back to say they are going to cancel job do to them having a patio done in back yard. So if they knew they were having a patio done then they should have never confirmed doing the other work with us. Customer stated they would have the work done when patio was done but instead told me to mow lawn for $30.00 half the price I gave them cause I was only mowing the front do to the patio. So I’m not understanding I’m suppose to lose the deposit cause customer decides not to do the job knowingly they were having the patio done then asking me to mow lawn for half the price I gave and take that off the deposit ? We can’t afford to drive out to a house mow for $30.00 with out us losing money.
