    NSM had been my wheelchair service provider for over 25 years (going back to ****** Homecare), and was in need to finally get a new manual wheelchair. I received my evaluation and a few months later, received my new chair. After delivery (a 30 minute visit), I used the chair and identified significant discomfort. Trying to contact NSM was easy, however getting a meaningful response became nearly impossible. After no email responses being received, I called and a technician finally came out. The technician actually looked up how to make the headrest repair via Youtube, and identified the remaining were structural changes and couldn't be made, so back to the drawing board. After a dozen email communications, half a dozen voicemails, and when going to Corporate, received an email response saying I would be required to go through a new evaluation to get the repairs. This was 9 months after initial delivery of the wheelchair. No offer to facilitate the scheduling, or perform inhome. I finally secured a new evaluation with a new vendor and was able to have my adjustments made. What makes this experience with NSM is the lack of communication, after NSM secured $20k in payment from my insurance company.
