On October 14, 2022 I spoke with Sharpco regarding my furnace not working. The employee came out that day to work on furnace. I had someone come out previously to look at it and they had said it needed a new motor, blower and board. When Sharpco came out and worked on furnace, he got it running showing me that all those things were not needed to be replaced. However, now my furnace is not working again. I had an electrician come out a to replace what I had thought was a blown circuit breaker, and both he and my son noticed that the person from Sharpco had replaced a fuse by jury-rigging it with alligator clips wrapped in electrical tape. WE are now not sure if the board is completely blown because of this dangerous situation of using alligator clips. I now need to hire another company as I don't trust Sharpco to do work on it again, as it is already getting cold in here, and if board is burnt out due to this careless work, I would like a refund from Sharpco. I have not had new company come out yet so I can't give you the outcome yet, but would like to file now and update once done.

on this service call the control board had not been touched. The system needed a sensor cleaned and a simple reset to restart the burner.
Sharpco was not notified of any further issues before seeing this complaint on BBB.
