December 2, 2023, 50% off sale. The earrings have a price of $267, 50% off should’ve been $133.50. Look at the image with the receipt I was charged $150. I don’t know why The owner used $300 and then took 50% off on the earrings. The ring I purchased the same day has a tag on it still $695 before sale price but it was marked up another five dollars. If my math is correct, I should have a price adjustment of $19 coming to me.

Good morning ******.  This is Larry L******* of Arnold's Jewelers in ***** *****.  I was very surprised to hear that you had filed a complaint with the BBB. If there was a concern, I wish you had contacted me directly.  We are a 66 year old family business and I was on the Board of the BBB many years ago.

As you saw, it was a very busy event and in an effort to make math simple, I rounded the figures.  There was,  and never would be any intent to deceive.  I am sending you a check in the amount of $19.00 to compensate you for the difference and I hope you continue to do business at our store.

I take every situation very seriously and the fact that you are unhappy sincerely bothers me.  I hope my response, along with the refund is acceptable to you.  I also am enclosing a $25.00 gift certificate that you are welcome to use at any time as an apology for any inconvenience this has caused you.  I hope you have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
