Superior Roofing LLC replaced my roof and provided a fraudulent manufacturer's warranty certificate and falsely claimed that they had registered it with the manufacturer.
According to our contract, the full roof replacement and all permits, taxes and an all inclusive 50 year manufacturer's warranty were included in the price of $18,400, yet when I checked with the town after the work was completed, there was no record of a permit being taken out. It was only after a series of texts to the sales manager, Bianca Cornacchia, my paying a visit to the town building department, and a call to Bianca from the building department three weeks after the job had been completed that the permit application was submitted and approved. However, it is interesting that Superior Roofing LLC is not listed on the permit, rather Bianca listed herself as an owner and agent.
Given the issues with the permit I submitted the Warranty certificate that Superior had sent me to *****, the manufacturer, to verify that it had been registered as required by the warranty. After three weeks and several follow up emails I received the attached letter from ***** stating that the installer had not registered the warranty, even though Bianca had stated in her texts that she had. The letter further stated that ***** did go ahead and register a warranty and sent me a copy. However the warranty they sent me was a limited twenty year product warranty and not the full fifty year warranty promised by Superior.
Further their facebook page states that "Superior Roofing is a Certified Installer with *****, ***, and ***********." However Superior Roofing, LLC does not even appear to be licensed in the state of Connecticut. Their License was denied (see attached lookup). The website listed on their folder, www.superiorroofingct.com (See Attached) also does not exist.
