    on 5/13/2023 i bought a gift card paid 87.43 for 30 days of tanning. on 5/30 the person i bought the card for started the process which i would assume would cover the 30 day time frame. on 6/16 the person i bought the gift card for was informed that there was a balance of 45 dollars due in order to continue using the service. i am no math wizard but i don't believe 5/30-6/16 is thirty days. not only did the front desk clerk refuse to allow this person to continue using the service they also claimed that they are going to bill their card for 45 more dollars. i am looking for a refund or a credit.

    The complaint is being made by ****** husband. All amounts below include all taxes - tanning tax and sales tax. He
    purchased her a gift card, for the exact amount of a Level 3 EFT Membership sign-up fee, $87.34 on 5/13/2023. **** subsequently came in, signed up for her level 3 monthly membership using said gift card on 5/30/2023, and used/placed her credit card on file for future monthly billing(s). **** was billed per her signed agreement the prorated amount, $45.07, on 6/15/2023.

    Historically, **** has
    only had EFT Tanning memberships with us, and has signed up for more than 20 of
    them since joining in 2007. We are confident **** understands the way our memberships work.

    Her husband may not understand the way memberships are billed - the initial charge and the pro-rated billing. We have tried to explain it all to him over the phone and offered to speak
    with his wife. This is ****** membership, and ****** card is on file - her husband only purchased a gift card to cover sign-up fee.

    **** has used said membership since being billed initially at sign-up on 5/30/2023 on: 5/30, 5/31, 6/2, 6/5, 6/7, 6/9, 6/11, and 6/13.  Since the pro-rate, **** has tanned on:  6/17-20-21-23-26 & 29. **** can continue to tan on said membership through and including 7/14/2023. We have no strings attached so **** can cancel anytime, on or before 7/14, in order to avoid future billing.

    In summary, **** has paid for Level 3 tanning from 5/30/2023 through end of business day 7/14/2023.  **** has also used/tanned on the same through the same period(s)
