    I bought a poorly made 3d printer copy of a Velux skylight opener that snapped the second I attempted to open the window. I attempted to get a refund or at least a replacement for the defective product. The person who answered the phone number couldn’t have been more hostile or rude and refused to do anything other than sell me an another opener for half price. Absolute scam.

    Handy CT sells 2 different oval rod materials that are different thicknesses and the parts do not work together. I bought both oval rods and oval connectors from Handy CT (a $350 order) the listings didn’t specify that the rods and adapters were different materials and wouldn’t work together- all it said was that the rods were 1.3mm and the adapters fit 1mm rods, but there is no option to buy oval rods in any size other than 1.3mm. So when the adapters wouldn’t fit into the rods, I asked the manufacturer what the problem was and he told me that I bought the wrong products because I’m “not a professional” and “don’t know how to read.” When I tried to explain why the website implies the only options of rod shape and size are round or oval, and that it doesn’t make it clear that oval comes in different sizes and materials he said that it isn’t his job to make it clear which products don’t work together and that if you aren’t 100% sure about the product that you shouldn’t buy it. When I asked him if that meant he wasn’t going to stand by his products and listings he suggested that I finish the conversation with his wife (because I’m a woman) and I guess he thought my small brain couldn’t process his big man words. So basically- don’t buy anything from this guy ever, because you can’t be sure what you’re buying based on the vagueness of the listing and he won’t stand by it.
