    I was using waxing services from European Wax Center for about 18 months in hopes that it would solve an ingrown hair issue I was having, or at least I thought they were ingrown hairs. I was diagnosed with Hidradenitis Suppurativa also known as HS in February of 2023 by my dermatologist *** **** ****. At that time she advised me to stop waxing as it would worsen my condition due to the friction of waxing. I took her advice and tried to cancel the three packages I had with European Wax Center thinking I could be issued a credit since it was due to a medical condition, and have not waxed since January of 2023. I did not know I had this condition when I purchased the three packages. I have asked them numerous times to issue me a credit, saying I will no longer be able to use the packages they have denied me every time. I explained to them my recent diagnosis and it was ordered by a doctor, offered a doctor’s note, and they still didn’t help me. They said the best they can do is allow me to transfer the packages to someone else who would use them. I saw my dermatologist Dr. Lowe this week and she issued me a note to help build this case. All I want is my money back for the three packages totaling $597, and I have the packages remaining in an email. I have 6 Brazilians at $62 equals $372, 6 Under Arms at $27 equals $162, and 3 Inner Thighs at $21 equals $63 for a total of $597. I had these three areas waxed because those are the problem areas I was having, and now I know they are the common areas affected by HS.
    My outreach to European Wax Center has been with-
    Jessie and Liz (manager) in ******** ** on 3.14.2023. Liz told me she would talk to the district manager and call me back. I never received a call from either of them.
