We hired Olde Tymes Restaurant to cater our wedding on 5/25/24 that took place at the ***** **** ********. The event was supposed to have cocktail hour start at 5:30 me until 6:30 pm with the reception from 6:30 pm until 10:30 pm. This information was provided to their catering coordinator Ashlee on many occasions and we confirmed all times with her on April 27 at Olde Tymes Restaurant in person with our wedding coordinator as well. Our wedding planner also provided the timeline the week before the wedding and we supplied it before our final invoice was created. On their invoice it states that it will be updated based on the timeline provided. On the day of the event, the catering coordinator Ashlee decided she didn’t want to stay until the end of the event and starting having her staff clean up and clear tables at 8:30 with everything being cleared and the staff leaving just after 10:00 pm. We had paid extra money to the venue and paid the dj to be at the event until 10:30 pm. They also tried to end the bar at 9:00 pm and our coordinator had to ask them to stay open until 9:30 which was per our contract with them. They had already removed some of the bar supplies at that time and proceed to tell our guest they were out of things. We reached out to the email on the catering companies website on 6/2 to get the owners contact information and got no response. I then emailed again on 6/12 and got a response that stated that we did not pay for the additional time and there staff did nothing wrong. We were told that everything was all set with the timeline on many occasions with Ashlee and assumed that the invoice was updated per the timeline as the invoice stated. By then ending the event early, we lost money on our venue cost for the extra time and dj cost and did not get all the clean up help that we paid for the catering company to do. This was very unprofessional and the wonder did not admit any fault or want to remedy the situation. We asked for a partial refund.
