    I went to Smith Brothers transmission to get my transmission rebuilt or replaced with a used transmission and they said that they could rebuild it for $3000. When I went to pick it up, it lasted me about two weeks and then it broke again so I brought it in and it took them two days to fix. And then less than 20 hours later, the transmission fluid leaked and they are saying that the case needs to be replaced which means rebuilding the transmission all over again they want me to repay for the repairs, even though I have a one year warranty. They took on the responsibility of rebuilding and doing inspections to make sure it was able to be rebuilt, and failed at doing their job.

    Hello not sure why this complain is here we were in the process of resolving this issue. We sometime get defective parts or delays due to shipping, In this case the transmission case was extremely worn, to rectify this issue we replaced the case in a timely matter and customers vehicle was returned to them with no extra fees, Problem was resolved. Customer received what they paid for.

    They lost the key to my car and did not inform me until I showed up to pick it up. I needed to get to my job but was unable to do so. They said they will replace the key but not compensate me for the 4 hours of travel to retrieve my car.

    To Whom It may Concern, 

    The vehicle was not drivable with or without the key it has a flat tire in the rear which would not hold air, Our repair was completed when I called the day before he showed up. I asked if he want us to pull the tire off so he could get a new or used tire so he could drive the vehicle home. He said he would let us know; the spare tire was no good either. So, his home to the shop is 38 miles and approximately 45 min not 4 hours. When He showed up I explained that a customer had picked up a vehicle prior to him coming and we believe the key was left in that car and I was waiting for the customer to call back. I will pay for a replacement key if he brings me a receipt. He had a spare key at home. Unfortunately, this happened. I will make good on the key. But an entire refund for all the work that was performed for a 45 min drive and a key is not going to happen.  

     

    Thank you for your time I will refund any cost of the new key.

    The car had a completely flat tire driving was impossible. That makes no sense! The customer was informed about tire and as far as the key we just found out about it. How were you to drive to a job with a completely flat tire come on this is rediculus.
