  I had my taxes done on 2/13/23. Prior to making an appointment I asked him if anything was to happen like an audit or what have you would they help with the taxes and they said yes, so I proceeded to make the appointment my husband and I had our taxes done by Mr. Burrell. At the end of the appointment, Mr. Burrell printed out the transcript and went over the income with us after he had already submitted it to the IRS at that time something was weird because our adjusted gross income was off. However, I wasn’t sure so my husband and I finished up the appointment. I stepped outside and I looked at the information again and was able to see that he left out one of our incomes so the adjusted gross income was wrong, my husband went over to the sun and let the sun know and the son stated that he would have his dad give us a call later that day after he was done because he was now with another client. The son did call later that night, and let us know to save X amount of dollars more , when we get the refund and to call and will they’ll help us do the amended return at this point they said the amended returns couldn’t be filed until two days later which was the February 16. He said get the return save the money and then you know we’ll go from there well my federal refund has not been excepted and we have been calling my husband and I both my husband has left several messages and they have not returned our phone call . I paid $185 plus $20 tip. It is very bad that I have not been able to get a response from them after they file the taxes without even showing us before he filed it was our first time going to them but now we’re stuck because our taxes have not been accepted and don’t know what to do and we’re calling the person who is filed our taxes and they are not calling us back. I would like a full refund as now I have to go have my taxes fixed else where due to them
  Not returning our calls and doing what they said they would do.

  This is in response to a complaint by ******* ******. She had an appointment to rectify the situation and cancelled it. She now has an upcoming appointment which is document in the link below. Until she comes in to clear this matter up there is really nothing we can do. The client retains all there documents so we have no means to do anything unless she comes in and keeps her appointment. As stated she has as upcoming appointment on April 3 so as long as she keeps that and doesn’t cancel again the matter can be resolved fairly easy. Thank you Jeff Burrell ( Burrells Tax Service)
