    The appraisal for the roof was on 02/23/2023 the price was $22,717.29 and 1000.00 in cash for my deductible with ***** **** Insurance a total of 23,717.29.

    The replacement of the roof was started on 04/02/2023 initially the installation was done incorrectly, resulting in warped shingles. I complained about the issue they came to fix the problem. However, since then , I have been experiencing a leak in my roof, which has been affecting my closet. I have contacted Armor Shield Exteriors LLC multiple times over the past year.
    I have spoken to Marcy office receptionist more then 7 times and also to Brian the production Manager. I have been there in person and have a list of the calls and a message from Brian on 11/24/2024 texting me he would be at my home after the Holidays to see if repairs are needed. His phone number is ###-###-####. I have been assured that someone would come to repair it. Despite these assurances, no one has shown up to address the leak. I've looked for their HIC license Number did not find one.
    Please Help me resolve this issue.

    Armor Shield replaced my roof in October, 2022, which included a 2 year warranty for their workmanship.
    January, 2024, leaking began to enter the house over sliding glass doors where two roof lines come together in a valley.
    I contacted Armor Shield and arranged for Armor Shield's head of repairs department, Brian, to come out. Brian scheduled appointments with me but did not show up for two confirmed appointments. He finally came out, admitted it looked like installers may have missed taping seems, and was going to come back out with his repair person, Caesar. Again, he no-showed, and began ignoring my attempts to reach him. After many attempts to resolve unsuccessfully, I hired an independent roofer, who deemed the workmanship of Armor Shield to be incorrect. They had not installed step flashing properly, and had shingled right under the fascia boards against the house, and in so doing, funneled water repeatedly into a small channel over the sliders. My new roofers deemed it "roofing 101" and stated, "It never should have been done this way." They installed proper step flashing, repaired the damaged insulation over the sliders, replaced wood over the sliders, and re-shingled the roof area, for which I had to pay out of pocket. My warranty with Armor Shield was for a two year period. Because Armor Shield never came out to make the appropriate repairs that should have been under my warranty, I had to hire independently and pay $1150 out of pocket. I sent Armor Shield a Certified, Signature required, return receipt letter, October 1, 2024, requesting they reimburse me those expenses, to which they have not responded. The letter detailed the above, included a log of every call and text I sent, and included a print-out of the text thread with Brian, their repair manager, showing his disregard and dismissiveness. I am asking for Armor Shield to reimburse me for the expenses I had to incur to fix a problem that was deemed their negligence.

    We had the roof on our 754-sqft house completely replaced by Armor Shield on February 8th, 2023. We paid $9,993.60 for this repair (see the attached receipt). The flashing/roof around our chimney is leaking and has been leaking since December 18th, 2023 (see attached photos). We are under warranty for repairs. Since December 18th, I have submitted a message through the website and also called the Armor Shield office four times. Also, when we had our gutters cleaned in November 2023, after having our roof installed on February 2023, we were notified that the roofers had left our gutters full of roofing debris, contributing to drainage issues on our property. No one will call me back to schedule a repair for our leaking roof/flashing, therefore I am filing this complaint on Friday, January 5th, 2024. I would like someone to come out to repair our roof as soon as possible. The leak around the chimney leaks down through the attic and into our ceiling.

    Hello - it says that this complaint was closed on the Armor Shield Exteriors BBB profile, but I never received any notification about the company responding and they haven't done anything about the issue, so I don't know how this complaint can be listed as "Closed?"
