      I was referred to Don Brodeur by a friend who owns a local business and uses them. Don did my personal taxes which I usually do myself but this time I had a lawsuit settlement and didn’t know exactly how to claim it. At first conversation by phone Don stated he charges $1000 as a retainer. I thought it was high but went along. After he did my taxes and filed he sent me a bill for $3700 stating he had to use alot of resources and time to figure out the settlement filing. I was outraged and tried to reason with him with no success. I feel strongly that he/they took advantage of me knowing my finances.
