    Dear BBB,
My husband and I went to Say brook Buick GMC to bring our 2011 GMC ******* (after having replaced the engine with our mechanic) due to the fact that the car has a problem and doesn't pass emissions. Our mechanic suggested this GMC business because they have a computer that hooks up to the car that can distinguish the problem with the car. After doing that they told us the problem and told us that they could fix it so we said ok and they proceeded with fixing the car and charged 1,100 dollars. My husband brought the car home because we though it was fixed like they promised and the car has problems still.Even when my husband told them to check the main computer, they replaced the fuel rail pressure sensor(which we had replaced previously to bringing it there, & they claimed it was not an O.E sensor). Then when my husband brought the car back, they said there was another problem, that now it was the oxygen system which costed approx. 350 dollars and they said it didn't pass emissions. My husband was able to negotiate the bill down to ~240 dollars because it is unfair that they keep charging and do not fix the problem. Why did it take charging us 2 separate times, and 2 different trips to their business to resolve the issue which still hasn't been fixed. From my understanding, they have a computer that demonstrates the problem as the car is hooked up so why are me and my husband going there multiple times and each time they do not give us the result they promised, instead the car has more issues every time we go? It is a professional shop that was supposed to give guarantees which they said "was going to last for a while" and it did not. Overall, we are very disappointed with their work, the constant new charges after saying there are new problems with the car which they said was only one problem come to find out it's a new one every time.
