      I want to say that the employees that work on the weekends are so nice and friendly especially a guy named Ty I think his name is. But they are super friendly staff and I appreciate them. I noticed that on the weekends when I go to the Orange CT facility

      I woke up this morning to see that Planet Fitness has decided to pull money from account, that was removed off of my profile. I contacted them and asked to a refund and to cancel my membership, since they're charging me $41 for a $26 membership, stating that because the 19th was a holiday, they reserved the right to charge a late fee. They told me they will not refund me, and I need to send an email to cancel my account. When I contacted corporate planet Fitness, they backed the idea of charging people another 15 to $20 over a bank holiday, and taking money from an unauthorized account.
      So now I have to go to my bank and do a debit dispute just to get my money back in the account that they decided to pull from, which again, I REMOVED AUTHORIZATION WHEN I REMOVED IT FROM MY ACCOUNT ON THEIR WEBSITE.
      If this is how they treat their customers, I want no part of the BS they're spewing into the world.

      Representative Joe said I could not cancel my membership unless I sent a certified letter or came in and signed a document. Unable to cancel over the phone or online. Would not send email. Unnecessarily obstructionist. Said if I stopped auto billing would continue to bill me.

      I canceled my membership because I was able to get a better deal with my health insurance
      Went in canceled my membership as they require and was told I was all set and not other payment or money would come out of my account and today they took $52.11 out for annual fee when called they said that is the way it is too bad.
      This is very frustrating if I was told this it is one thing but that is not the case.
      Very poor with their communication and training of their employees. they don’t know their policies.
      And it literally was a couple of days difference. Oh well, lesson learned. We’ll never join Planet Fitness again.

      I have been a member off and on for years, but the manager at the Norwalk CT location is extremely rude . I went in to the gym and was stopped after scanning my membership card by the app, the manager then shouted at me to come to the desk. She then demanded payment . I asked what the problem was, she said my card on file expired and she needed a new payment. When I tried to give her it she demanded a routing number and bank account instead. When I refused, she said she could let me pay in on a new card. After i agreed and saw a late fee, I said i want to wait and talk to customer service, She shouted to the crowd you will have to pay that or go to collections. I told her again i would talk to customer service, she then called me a nasty bitch in front of my daughter and all of the trainees. When I questioned her she denied it . She then proceeded to tell me and my daughter to leave. My daughter did nothing. I had an extensive conversation next with the regional manager at Bridgeport and she promised to look into the managers actions. She never returned my call, I followed up and no return call again.
      I emailed the manager at Norwalk after I also saw that they charged my account 3 times, I had fixed my account billing(added bank routing number) and they charged for the last month and two more times, one under ABC fitness. I questioned the Norwalk manager , and she claimed she would credit my account , but now needed a different credit card in order to do it. This is certainly not policy to make your customers give you their credit cards and routing numbers.
      We have left this business due to this terrible service and the fact that no one in cooperate will even talk to you, Apparently its ok to call your customer anything you want and treat them anyway you would like.
