I had Rob's Painting and Powerwashing paint the outside of my house in October of 2020. After less than 3 years, the job starting failing. At 4 years the house needed to be completely repainted. (For clarity, I do not live on the coast where salt air has a negative effect.) When I reached out to Rob, he made every excuse in the book -- including that the quality of paint these days is lousy. Rob told me numerous times he would come out and take a look, but never showed up. I considered taking him to small claims court, but figured it wasn't worth my time. Buyer beware - find a different painter.

It started peeling after two years and the first time you ever contacted me was 9 months ago. If you would have contacted me when it started we would have caught it early to fix the problem. Also when you did contact me for the first time you accused me of charging over 16k, until I sent a copy of invoice which was less than half that. I have pictures and videos of fully sanding your exterior down to the bare wood, then oil priming all the wood, and then two coating with Benjamin Moore exterior paint. That was the only “excuse” I gave. Not sure there’s a better way to do an exterior. Also when you did finally contact me it was September 2024, when we were wrapping up exterior season and we didn’t start exterior this year yet. It’s unfortunate you went this route. There’s a reason you won’t find a negative review online of our business in over 12 years of being in business, we always fix any issues. Just not in the winter time.
