      I went to Saint Clements Castle to pay for my booked wedding for 9/21/24 in which I paid $1402.10 with a cashier’s check as my final payment. 7 days later I received a phone call and bill stating they charged me the wrong amount with an email stating such and admitting to changing the final invoice then saying I owe an additional $4942.70 for services rendered due to their clerical error, they also copied and pasted my signature to said invoice, the signature is dated for the 19th of September (when I paid the final bill) and there’s a payment listed for the 20th, therefore showing I did not sign this invoice.

      The Clients signed on a contract with St. Clements, Inc. on
      1/26/2023 and 2/1/2023, respectively. The terms of this agreement included a
      billing minimum of 135 guests at $129 per person for an event on 9/21/2024. The
      estimated total cost of their event per the agreement was $23,724.67. This
      total would increase if the final head count increased or if additional
      enhancements were added.
      The final guest count came in 115 people. The Client added
      additional enhancements to their event totaling $1,527, plus sales tax and
      admin. fees. The invoice that was provided to the Client prior to the event did
      not include the required guest minimum (20 guests short). A final invoice was
      sent to the couple a few days after the event with the corrected amount due, which
      was $4,942.70 (based on a total cost of $25,724.54).
      Subsequently, we have had multiple discussions with the client
      through calls and emails. The Client claims they are not financially able to
      pay the outstanding amount. We tried to negotiate with the Client through
      either reducing the amount due or through a payment plan. No agreement could be
      made, therefore we have handed this claim off to our lawyers to resolve.
