  We were in need of a new furnace and decided to switch from oil to propane. We spoke with several companies and after weighing our options, we chose Daniels Energy. It certainly was the right choice. They are a big company with a great reputation and they lived up to our expectations. We thought we’d get excellent service. It took three days to complete the entire project. Throughout it all, everyone we dealt with was remarkable. Everything came out perfect. They were professional, knowledgeable, competitive, caring and accommodating. We would highly recommend them if you're looking for the right company.

  I needed a new furnace and had no idea what I needed. Daniels Oil, where I get my oil was extremely helpful to me! They sent out a nice man to assess my needs and then they arranged a low interest loan for me to cover the payments. Everyone from the one who answers the phone to the folks who helped me arrange for the purchase and loan was very very helpful. They really understand as I didn't know the process at all. They walked me through all the steps and I now have a wonderful new furnace. The installers were polite and respectful and clearly know what they were doing. I am so glad I decided to have Daniels Oil install my new furnace. Coby HInkens, East Hampton CT

  I called this company for a new oil tank. I spoke to a gentleman, and he gave me a lot of info on different tanks and the warranties. We must of spoke for 30 minutes a least. So, I set up a date to install the new tank. They said late Monday or early Tuesday, they called to let me know on Monday, before 12:00 they were coming. They were able to install the new tank and answer more questions from me! They also moved an oil line on the floor (that I always tripped on) and ran it along the ceiling. Before they left that afternoon, they asked me to inspect the installation. It was all cleaned up from the installation and I was very happy. It's worked great since. Thank you, Daniels energy.

  They claimed they were delivering 150 gal/mo. I’ve been running my heater for the last 3 months and I’ve only used a little under half of my 275gal tank. Either the company knows that the drivers are stealing the fuel or they don’t but the fuel is not being delivered when they say it is. And they have $500 service charge they don’t tell you about. Thieves run this company, do not get caught up with this company.

  I've purchased four ********** ductless splits for my home and they were installed flawlessly, at a very competitive price and after 8 years, when I had an electrical issue, Daniels came, fixed the unit and didn't overcharge me. In fact every time I've called them they were respectful and responsive. Can't ask more than that.

  We recently had ductless mini-splits installed by Daniels Energy. The staff who came to install the units were great! They were very nice, respectful, and professional. They worked efficiently as well! Very happy with the installation and the units!

  BUYER BEWARE - Dishonest, deceptive, evasive. I bought a home in CT 14 months ago, I set up a 1 year contracted budget plan with Daniels 13 months ago . I also purchased cap insurance as the price of oil was at an all time high when the contract was signed. As we all know the price of oil has significantly declined from April 2022 to April 2023, yet my price remained at an all time high despite the promise of lower rates should the price of oil drop with the purchase of the cap insurance. Never having used oil heat before I relied on the company to estimate my usage for the home as they serviced the previous owner. Although my contract was scheduled to end 1 year from the start date which would have been 4/23 Daniels claims my contract ended 2/23 ( was just notified of this today 5/8/23) because they delivered more than the agreed oil amount. I spoke to multiple representatives at Daniels several times about renewing my contract prior to April and never once did anyone tell me my contract was expired. I was never notified by anyone that my contract was going to expire earlier than anticipated and they charged me over 1800 for 2 oil deliveries . I was just notified this today and 3 hours after being told this ( someone called me on the phone, for the first time ever ) I receive a new bill that is now over 2500 dollars with all kinds of added finance charges stating my bill is 90 days past due. I have never been witness to such untruthful and unethical business practices. I don’t have a single negative inquiry on my credit. I pay all my bills and I pay them on time. I don’t expect to get anything for free but I do expect to be notified before being billed thousands of dollars and being given a choice as to what my options are. Would not recommend and would advise to steer clear of this company

  I have been using Daniels energy for about 20 years now and have always been pleased with their service and response. We choose Daniels to replace our old furnace recently. They showed up on time, were courteous and professoinal and left the place cleaner then when they arrived! Very happy with their service and support and would definitely recommend them to others
