Purchase for 36 Oz *** **** *** *****. I'm a senior it's hard for me to Lug big bottles. All four had tiny bits of plastic floating around. Phone company in *********** no answer no call back. This problem began on 17th of January, Two Thousand and Twenty Four. I purchased a metal cleaning and or polishing product from T*** ***** Hardware store in ******* **. The product destroyed a diamond plated aluminum tool box. Front of product say can be used on metals. Aluminum is a metal. The density of aluminum isn't as dense as steel metal. Aluminum is still a metal. Product doesn't warn on front label "don't use on Aluminum." Instead, front label specifies metals, aluminum is a metal, Product does say on back label in approximately 3 font size, "don't use on aluminum." Great. Destroyd my diamond plated aluminum toolbox completely. You can't get that product and what ever is in it to come off the aluminum even if you use a 1200 rpm wheel polishing buffer.Business Response

WE ARE BUILDING A SHOWER FOR OUR WHEELCHAIR-BOUND FAMILY MEMBER. WE PURCHASED SEVERAL BOTTLES OF “GE ADVANCED SILICONE WITH 100% WATERPROOFING”. COLOR = WHITE.
WE USED THE PRODUCT TO SEAL THE SHOWER TILE AS DIRECTED, BUT AFTER IT DRIED, THE COLOR TURNED OUT TO BE FLORESCENT YELLOW AND LOOKED RIDICULOUS.
WE LOOKED ON THE BACK OF THE PRODUCT AND IT SAYS: HENKEL CORPORATION: *** ****** **** ***** ***** *** I CALLED THE NUMBER LISTED TO TELL THEM WHAT HAPPENED AND THEY SAID THEY KNOW THIS PRODUCT HAS THIS PROBLEM BUT THEY SAID NOT ALL BOTTLES HAVE THE PROBLEM SO THEY CONTINUE TO SELL IT. THEY SAID ALL WE HAVE TO DO IS SHINE A UV LIGHT ONTO THE PRODUCT AND IT WILL TURN WHITE. WE WENT OUT TO BUY A UV LIGHT AND TRIED THIS. IT DID NOT WORK. WE CALLED AGAIN AND THIS TIME CUSTOMER SERVICE SAID THEY WILL GIVE US $6 BECAUSE THEY HAVE A LIMITED LIABILITY LISTED ON THE BOTTLE SO THE CUSTOMER USES THE PRODUCT AT THEIR OWN RISK.
WOW! WHAT ABOUT THE DAMAGE THAT WAS DONE? THIS PRODUCT HAD TO BE REMOVED AND IT WAS PAINSTAKING - ABOUT 16 HOURS OF MAN LABOR. IT WAS DIFFICULT BECAUSE WE ARE ALREADY AT A DEFICIT TRYING TO HELP A DISABLED PERSON TO HAVE A SHOWER BUILT SPECIAL FOR OUR WHEELCHAIR-BOUND LOVED ONE. LIFE IS NOT EASY CARING FOR A PARALYZED PERSON BUT ADDING THIS DEFECTIVE PRODUCT HAS MADE OUR DIFFICULT SITUATION BE EVEN MORE DIFFICULT. WE WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT HENKEL WANTS TO DO TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR DEFECTIVE PRODUCT. HENKEL IS A HUGE PROFITABLE COMPANY, ** IS ALSO A HUGE COMPANY, SO HOW CAN THEY JUST ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN AND NOT TAKE ANY RESPONSIBILITY OTHER THAN $6. THIS IS SHAMEFUL.
PHOTOS ARE INCLUDED OF MY 87 YEAR OLD STEP FATHER REMOVING ALL THE DEFECTIVE PRODUCT WHICH TOOK HIM ALL WEEKEND 8 HOURS A DAY. YOU CAN SEE THE SCRAPINGS ARE YELLOW. THIS WAS AN AWFUL EXPERIENCE! I purchased a bottle of ******** extreme glue at *******, about 30 mi.from me,when I arrived home to do a repair,I realized I couldn't dispense the product,it seemed hardened in the bottle,I called Henkel corp.and explained the problem,they asked for the codes on the product,I complied and they said it's expired past it's shelf life,so I asked if they could just replace with another product,they said no,but they would send a $6.00 refund,I asked why ,when I just paid $13.80 for it? Then they said take it or leave it? So I replied with ,I'm going to file a complaint with the better business bureau,then they hung up on me. Recently, I experienced an issue with **** *** ************* This issue occurred with four of your products. The products were so hard that I had to get a knife or hammer to break them apart. I understand the nature of the material, however, I find this to be completely unacceptable. I have reached out regarding this multiple times and received no response. Phoned company woman and customer service extremely rude. Promise to help me get refund after keeping me on phone 20 minutes, denied refund after getting all my information. Purchased four tubes of silicone glue. Glue did not come out of tube tube was dry. Customer service woman admitted the problem with the product. Said tough luck will not refund product. I spent $28 for these. I am a *** ***** leader and I bought these to help the boys build bird houses. I want the money spent on this defective glue returned to me. The woman was very off and led me on for quite some time in fact wasting my time with no refund.
