      I contracted with NextGen Electric to install recessed lighting and a ceiling fan. The work was paid in full upfront. The electrician Andre A******** and his colleague completed the recessed lighting and installed the electric box for the ceiling fan. At which point as per the town of ******** requirements the inspect came to inspect for final approval. The inspector found that the ceiling fan was not installed correctly and he would contact Andre. That occurred as well as I reached out to Andre informing him of the failure to install correctly. Andre agreed to come out correct the mistake and install the ceiling fan. This was approximately 6-8 months ago. I have reached out to NextGen (Andre) directly with no response back. I Am left with a ceiling fan still in the box and exposed electric outlet in the ceiling of the room it was intended to be installed in. I am left with no choice but to file a complaint.

      Hello BBB,

      I’m resending this because it’s unclear if it sent the first time. 

      We’ve fulfilled our obligation to ****** *****. As you can see on the agreement, it calls for fan provisions. We wired for a fan and installed the recessed lights. ****** ***** read and signed the agreement. She became belligerent when she was told that it would be an additional cost to install the fan as it was not part of the scope of work. I have the text messages if you’d like to see them.  I’ve dealt with her brother **** ***** who not only in charge of the project, but also paid for this work to be done. No one took anything from ******. She received a 100% completed job. I did have the permit amended to add the fan as it wasn’t on the original permit application. They’ve come out to inspect and you can see the attached certificate of approval.
