• Advertising Review:

  In June 2024, BBB contacted Revival IV And Wellness Clinic regarding claims in its advertising. 
  
  Its advertising includes many health benefit claims related to the ingredients and treatments offered at the facility.  According to the BBB Code of Advertising, claims relating to performance, energy savings, safety, efficacy or results for a product or service should be based on recent and competent testing or other objective data.  For medicinal and therapeutic claims or claims to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any illness or disease, scientific clinical evidence from human clinical trials that is blinded, performed by an independent third party, placebo controlled, conducted on a sufficient scope of subjects, and has ideally been peer reviewed is preferred to support these claims. Below is a sample of some of the health benefit claims in its advertising. 
  "IV Hydration Therapy - This form of therapy is commonly employed to promote overall wellness, reduce stress, facilitate athletic recovery, alleviate hangover symptoms, and more."
  Glutathione: "Slow down the aging process with this master antioxidant. Encourage cell revitalization and regeneration, while you detoxify the liver and drastically improve how your skin looks and feels." 
  Liqulift: "This has the greatest impact on mood, and rehydrates the brain and other important organs instantly. Many people use this drip as a long-term strategy to stay healthy all year round."
  Natural Defense: "Attacks sickness head-on, naturally. If you're feeling under the weather or are already sick with the common cold, this higher dose of vitamin C and other nutrients will boost the immune system, so you can bounce back quickly and live life to the fullest."
  The Executive: "Feel sharp and mentally alert.  Fight stress caused by heavy workloads and long business days. This drip also helps you recover from jet lag, while giving you a sense of sharper memory and focus, so you're alert and in the present."
  The business did not respond to BBB's request that it substantiate, modify, or discontinue its claims.
  
  Its site indicates that some treatments and procedures may be considered "Off-Label" or not cleared by the FDA.  For example, the business states "Ketamine is a medication that has been approved by the FDA for use as an anesthetic. In addition to its anesthetic properties, ketamine has also shown effectiveness in managing symptoms associated with depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and chronic pain" and "Unlike traditional antidepressants and other commonly prescribed medications for bipolar disorder, the use of ketamine for the treatment of bipolar depression can provide significant relief in a matter of hours."  Additionally, its site states "Ketamine, an FDA-approved medication used for chronic pain treatment since the 1970s, offers a safe and effective option. It carries no addictive qualities or notable side effects and can be used alongside other medications without concerns about negative interactions."  The business did not respond to BBB's request that it provide substantiation for health benefit claims in treatments and procedures not cleared by the FDA.
