      On 3/19/2024 we financed a loan for the purchase of a used RV with Trident Funding and we also financed $5,838 to be used for the tax, title, registration. Trident Funding rep told us we were to utilize their services for these fees (which we later found was outsourced to a contractor) therefore they retained those funds. On 4/26, after frustration with how long the process was taking, we informed our client rep at Trident Funding that we wanted the original title from the seller and all sales documents sent to us so we could go to our local *** ourselves and take care of the process. We finally received the needed documents on 5/6 after which we were able to complete the tax/title/reg process in less than 20 minutes. Since 5/6 I have sent our Client Rep and the Trident Funding Regional RV Sales Manager six email messages asking when we would receive a check for the $5,838 which the retained from our loan - refunding the amount for the tax, title, registration services that we ended up completing ourselves. We only received two replies and those took days to receive and merely stated they were working on it. I left multiple phone messages for our client rep and he finally returned the 4th one! I've left messages for the Regional Manager, and he hasn't returned any. It has been over 7 weeks (63 DAYS) since we received the needed original documents so we could take care of the tax, title and reg ourselves and we have NOT YET RECIEVED OUR MONEY BACK! We had to use a credit card to pay for those fees and we are now paying interest on our loan for that money as well as interest on the credit card we used. We would like a refund of the money owed us for the services that were not utilized (never given an option not to use them). Services which we ultimately took care of ourselves and used our own money for, despite having those funds financed. We are simply requesting the $5,838 due as a refund to us - returned by check as soon as possible
