    Open enrollment for Medicare ended December 7. This Barrington Media group is a marketing group. Nothing to do with Medicare. They should have their ads removed. I've heard of issues after a senior citizen called them. They were asked for information they thought would be in regards to Medicare.. But it's a scam to illicit such information. This friend was immediately called from so called ' Medicare' experts. Hello, my name Dave. In a mumbled Philippines or Oriental accent. MEDICARE typically does not call you. They send letters This company and others like them are marketers. Get your information. Then SELL IT. I can't understand why the Government cannot force these ads to be pulled. Medicare is a federal agency. Why are these scam marketers like Barrington allowed to advertise false enrollment?

    Barrington Media Group advertises Medicare Advantage plans on TV. They are still advertising in an effort to elicit more calls from viewers, claiming that the Medicare Open Enrollment is still active, although they state in their commercial that open enrollment ends December 7. Today is December 13. Open enrollment has ended and these commercials should be deemed false advertising and fraud. Barring Media is a corrupt group of scammers.
