      I had an appointment at 8:30 on 10/24, I dropped my car off on time if not a few minutes early and just now at 12:30 received a call that my car hasn’t even been started yet. If you can explain to me the purpose of scheduling an appointment and you all not respecting my time or money, I’d really love to hear it. I’m spending over $400 for a service at a “luxury car dealership” for what? Overpriced oil changes and windshield wipers? Moving forward, Id rather spend the money at a local family owned business than contribute to the Mitchell Volvo hierarchy.
      I told them at drop off I needed my car by 3 pm in order to get my kids at school, and the guy at the front said he’d put a note in for 2 pm but that usually gives them an hour le-way and he’d do his best so I can pick my kids up at school today. My daughter has a car seat and I cannot do anything with her in the rental, nevermind that I wouldn’t be able to pick up my car until Monday if I let the team continue with the service. When I received a call at 12:30 informing me of the delay, I was told “we expect to have the car all day” which was not the message I received at drop off. I understand things come up but calling me at 12:30 to tell me it hasn’t even been started, when I’m planning to pick up my vehicle at 3 pm is really unacceptable.
      When I dropped off the loaner I asked what the purpose of an appointment is if you don’t honor it by more than 4 hours, and the retorhical question that was asked back was, “what’s the purpose of a loaner?” To which i said, I need my car seat, and he said “well, you could’ve asked.” Entirely rude and unprofessional young kid working at the desk and although I am one person and the loss of a customer to them means nothing to such a large business, but I am embarrassed for them to conduct business and pre scheduled appointments in such a way. My money is their paycheck. Maybe my concerns aren’t an issue to them, but who is the customer anyway?

      1.5 stars is being generous for this establishment. If there's anything I can sincerely suggest, it is to please take heed to these reviews and stars because this place conducts the worst business. Between the reviews and the complaints they are all the same in which this organization will turn around and blame it on the customer. Buyer beware!! Not only are they terrible as a sales establishment their service is just as bad, giving you faults and inaccurate estimates, as well as incorrect for parts to be replaced or fixed. The owner will use his Justice of the Peace card for some sort of "Justice" of his character. Which reality it's for tax exemption of tax breaks. This is the kind of sleaziness you deal with dealing with Mitchell Auto group. Again please take heed these reviews and buyer beware!

      I purchased my 2017 Ford Explorer at Mitchell in Windsor, Ct and have had good service. But a recent experience has changed my opinion of Mitchell Ford.
      Last week I brought my Explorer in for normal service and a recall and needed a ride home. I waited for about an hour for a ride. Finally I asked what’s taken so long and found they forgot about me. I was so livid I took my car home without service. They called and apologized and came to my house picked up my Explorer and left a loner. Received my truck back later in the afternoon. The following Saturday drove to the Cape Cod and on the way the front Cowling under front of engine fell down scraping down the road. Took it off and called Mitchell they said they would order a new one and have it ready first thing in morning following week. I came in and they acted like they didn’t have anything in computer and wanted to know if I wanted a ride home. I said I was told it would be taken care of fast in morning. Now I’m sitting here wait !! See what happens let you know
