    My husband and I purchased our first home at ** ******** **** in ********* ** in January 2023, and we officially moved in mid-Feburary. The home was a remodel by a contractor named ***** ***** and a brand new ********** Heat Pump system was installed by ***** ******. Upon moving in, we immediately noticed an issue with the HVAC system. There was adequate air flow from the vents in only three rooms of the house. The other rooms have barely any air flow coming from the vents at all! During our first winter, those three rooms would get extremely warm very quickly, while all the others remained icy cold. The same air flow problem is true when running the AC in the summer. I have made numerous attempts to get in touch with ***** ****** since March 2023. I filled out the contact form on his website. No response. I contacted the builder that we purchased the house from, ***** ***** who gave me *******s cell phone number. I called and texted ****** several times. On only one occasion (May 2nd) did he actually answer the phone. He told me he would come to the property to assess the problem, but then never answered any of my subsequent messages to schedule an appointment. In September, I met with the town building inspector who approved ******s work, *** *******, to see if he could help me compel ****** to come diagnose and fix the problem with his work. The inspector contacted ***** **** on my behalf, who has been trying since September to get ****** to come back to the property. In early October, ***** **** emailed me saying that he had FINALLY gotten ****** to agree to a date and time: Monday October 23rd. Then, surprise! Just the night before, I got an email from ***** saying that ****** couldn't come anymore. ***** ****** has been consistently skirting responsibility for this issue for months, and my concern is that he knows there was a problem with his work. I believe he shouldn't be allowed to operate a business in *********** or get future mechanical permits.

    To Whom it May Concern,

    I wish to notify the BBB that my complaint has been finally addressed by the business owner, ***** ******. Yesterday, on 11/10/2023, he sent an employee to my house in ********* ***********. His employee successfully resloved the issue that we have been having with our HVAC system. 

    I have no further need for resolution or assistance from the BBB. Thank you for your efforts to notify this business on my behalf. I do believe that your notification is what helped me finally get a prompt response and resolution.

    I hired Wittig Mechanical to install 7 mini-split units and 2 condensers for my home on August 29, 2022 for the proposed price of $17,800. When they finally came in to do the work in January, it took them Until March to complete the work not calling nor showing up for days on end. After completion I noticed the mini-split units they installed were not all the ones that were listed on the quote (2) being 2K BTU's smaller. After notifying the owner, he said they would be more than adequate to cool my home and now in fact, they are not. I also have asked time and time again for my rebate forms to which he has not given me legible copies that are acceptable to Eversource. At the same time they were installing the mini-split units I also hired them to redo some hot/cold water piping which remains incomplete. I have paid them for all the work they have performed however he is no longer answering my calls nor texts regarding the smaller units installed, finish work for hot/cold water plumbing lines, and has not gotten me the rebate forms that were promised. I have attached the original proposal with my notes on what was quoted versus what was installed, and the illegible rebate form. I would like my lost time trying to get them to do there job, and also to resolve this matter repaid along with the units replaced with quoted units. I would also like them to come finish the work they have been paid to perform.
