    Hello I did a new ignition key replacement for a ***** ****** 2017 the repair shop was able to do the job less than 1 hour they called me and said the car was running and they was sending the paperwork to ********* and they was going to stick it to them. They made 3 different invoices after 3 requests they haven't sent me what they sent to ********* this is fraud they charged both and the battery was already new. I didn't ask for a battery. I'm not a loyal customer first time and last time there I'm considering suing.

    Vehicle arrived at Strong's Autocare in a no start condition via tow truck.Vehicle had heavy front end body damage,broken headlights,passenger side door panels all damaged.Customers son,who is driver of car,stated that there had been an issue with the key starting the car in the past and had gotten worse over the last few days.When car arrived at our shop it would not start.car had no power and unable to turn key in ignition switch.After our initially looking at car,we contacted customer who resides in ******* to make her aware of condition of car.************ requested an appraisal of damage and repairs needed and to contact her warranty company in regards to mechanical issues [ no start].Customer stated she spoke to her warranty company and they were going to "cover everything".After our conversation with customer we contacted *** ****** warranty company regarding pending claim.Strongs Auto was told, do to there being no power to car and the inability to retrieve mileage,they would not be able to proceed with claim at this time.Strong's Autocare was advised to contact customer to request permission to diagnose car at customers expense until mileage could be retrieved.Customer agreed to 1 hour of diagnostic time, stating I need car repaired because her son needed car.Customer was confused as to why warranty company was not just taking care of everything as she was under impression everything was covered.Strong"s Autocare explained to her that 3rd party warranty companies DO NOT COVER EVERYTHING.Strong"s Autocare moved forward with determining that ignition switch/key was inoperable and would need to be replaced along with dead battery in order to get mileage reading and for car to start.Customer was contacted with findings,as was warranty company.Warranty company reiterated that they still needed mileage to proceed with claim.Customer was updated as to conversation with warranty company.Customer stated son was calling her daily and needed to repair car.Advised customer cost of repair 1907.84$ That this amount was her responsibility whether or not her warranty company covered repair.Customer was told we needed a 1200.00 $ deposit.toward repairs until warranty claim was resolved.Parts were ordered,installed and repairs were made to ignition switch/lock assembly,battery replaced.Mileage was obtained submitted to warranty company.The warranty company APPROVED A PORTION OF CLAIM 957.84$-MINUS HER 250.00$ DEDUCTIBLE.Warranty company paid Strong's Autocare   707.84$.************ paid difference of 1200.00$ Son took delivery of car.************ issue should be with misleading information from warranty company regarding what they cover and do not cover.All was EXPLAINED TO HER THAT Strong's Autocare was only assisting her with claim,we were repairing HER CAR .WE DO NOT WORK FOR WARRANTY COMPANY!!!!!!
