SCAM!!!! Looking for your business information to create false checks and cash them.

    Mr. Smith
Coalition Greenwich is a leading research firm in the Finance Industry. We are calling to conduct a survey that does not request banking identification. The survey is a voice of the consumer program, where we simply ask you to rate your providers so we may grant excellence awards to the best commercial banking providers. This can be verified at www.greenwich.com. This is not a scam, it is a survey. We are an S&P-owned entity and do conduct business in compliance with all laws and regulations. We will not contact you further. ,

They called saying they are conducting research, not a sales call. I asked a lot of questions just trying to identify if they were telling the truth, before I'm going to share any information about my business with them. For example, I asked what kind of business they are, who ordered the study, what will ultimately do with the results, where does their funding come from, what is their product, etc. In the end she never gave a direct answer to any of these questions. It appeared they were more or less reading from a script that instructed them to just repeat lines like, "I promise this is not a sales call" or "we are simply trying to provide help to you and your bank". Sorry, nobody just calls you because they "want to help". Either someone paid to fund a study, or you plan to sell the results. Neither of these things are necessarily nefarious or unethical, but if you can't be straight with me about which it is, then something is wrong. No transparency = no response from me.

I got a call from them 5 weeks ago, their agent by name of Elle G*****said you should receive $100.00 gift card in 5 days. She did not say anything about the gift card will be emailed to me or confirmation number. Now that I called them, she said well you need the confirmation # and also check your spam box maybe it was emailed to you. They are scam. These tactics only display their fraudulent antics. I wasted my time because they get money from the other side to collect data for them. I am wondering even if they have an employee by the name of Elle G***** Most probably that is fake name too.

Some kind of data harvesting scam? Unclear. But they make an Olympic amount of spam calls to business of all kinds on the west coast. They used to spam me at the law office i worked at, and now they spam me at the design firm i work at. I hope someone shuts them down.

They just don't stop!!!! I have repeatedly stated that I am not comfortable giving out any financial numbers and/or the name of the financial institution that we do business with - and they just rephrase the question and assure me that this is confidential.
What word in I AM NOT COMFORTABLE answering your questions, don't you understand!!!! And now they want to send me an email to make me more comfortable in completing the survey.

The lady that called said she was with Greenwich Associates and asked to speak with my accounting department. When I told her no one from accounting was available, she said she would speak with whoever is in charge of our banking which is still our accounting department. When I asked for what the call was regarding, she became hostile and rude so that's when I realized that she's just a solicitor. Please do not waste our time with nonsense again.

The send an email claiming if you fill out the 10 minute survey you will get a $100 amazon gift card. You start to fill it out and it freezes/glitches so you can't complete it. Forces you to shut page down and when you click on link again in there email it brings you right back to the glitch and you can't move forward. They collect enough information and they don't need to pay the gift card out. SCAM!
