      Mike V**** is threating to put my home into collections and lien when they did not provide correct service. the sheetrock they never measured the original above the cut line of and they used the wrong size sheetrock size and the work needs to be redone. we are demanding credit towards the labor and sheetrock costs. Other multiple vendors came out and advised that Service Master failed to measure correctly the sheetrock and needs to credit back the labor and costs of materials so it could be redone. the sheetrock needs to be cut out again and redone and credit needs to be applied as Service Master failed to do the job correctly and needs to apply credit. insurance company is involved and is aware and service master needs contact insurance company for more details

      This client doesn’t understand the standards and methods of construction and when we made efforts to explain the steps and procedures we used and why we used them she just can’t seem to grasp it! She insists that things need to be done the way they were before, but today we use improved methods then what was done 20+ years ago! For some reason she is insisting that we only put one layer of half inch drywall back but In fact we put 2 layers which exceeds the fire code for this application. We have shown pictures to her of the performed work, and she says they are lies to spite the fact that we have proof. We put two different layers and types of insulation behind the walls at her request, and she is insisting we didn’t! again to spite the fact that we provided photo proof!

       

      She accused us of steeling pieces of tile that were originally used as baseboard that were no longer usable and were part of our proposal to dispose of, when I questioned why she was so upset about this she claimed she needed it to match up new tile yet she had a piece as well as us and the tile guy all having samples of it.  There was one floor tile that had a crack in it that she accused us of breaking which we may or may not have, we don’t really know for sure because she originally had carpet installed over the tile but for the sake of good business we said no problem we will replace it yet she repeatedly complained and brought it up to us and the insurance company as if we hadn’t already addressed it and took responsibility for it. To date any issues we have had with her we either addressed and replaced whatever it was or gave her credit for said items, yet she still does not want to pay us for what we did and continues to come up with things that we supposedly didn’t do to spite us continuing to prove otherwise. We are in contact and working with the insurance company and we have given them ample justification at every turn.  Even the other company that went out and tried to say we didn’t do what we were supposed to do we have been able to justify and clarify our actions to the point that it has become obvious that the other company was creating a big reach on trying to justify their findings for the sake of creating a job for themselves! The fact remains if she had just let us finish the job without creating obstacles and Roadblocks throughout the entire project, she would see that in the end there would be no issues.  Unfortunately, she just kept giving us pushback on a job that had yet to be completed!
