    My insurance pays for annual eye exam, which I scheduled.
    After getting there, I was informed that, IF the doctor gave a referral or wrote a prescription, that I would be charged a co-pay of at least $68.00 based on my insurance. My eyes are fine, I use eye drops for random dryness and redness but fine.

    At the end of my exam, the admin team informed me that I owed $68.00
    - The admin stated because the doctor recommended that I use a different, OVER-THE-COUNTER Eye Drop, INSTEAD OF THE ONE I CURRENTLY, THAT WORKS FINE!
    - I did not need a different eye drop solution, nor did I request one, nor is it a prescription medication.
    -Why do I owe $68.00? The admin stated, that is the policy and there is nothing that can be done.

    After reviewing Mr. ******* ******** insurance plan and his complaint we have decided to give a full refund in the amount of $68.00. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may have him caused him. Windfred insurance plan covers his exam in full and a mistake was made.
