    Canidae changed an ingredient, in my dog’s food, with no notice. They added chicken, to the lamb food and didn’t notify consumers.

    Canidae Pure dog food has changed a major ingredient in their Lamb and Brown rice formula. Main ingredients for the past several years has been Lamb meal, goat meal. They are still advertising their dog food on their own website and petco's with the previous packaging. We are autoship and our dog has severe allergies to fowl. They changed goat meal to turkey meal, failed to notify the public and their negligence has cost us hundreds in vet bills. I was instructed by ***** to return the food to their store and take pictures of the bag for which I did. Despite having receipts, coupled with evidence their formula has changed, but their packaging has stayed the same on their website, they refuse to reimburse me for my vet bills because I don't have a "picture of the UPC/bar code". Disgusting that this company can get away with this when numerous people post online that they specifically buy this food due to their dogs chicken and turkey allergy. Vomiting, diarrhea, and welts all over my poor golden doodle's body. Shame on your Canidae.
