    I contracted in September, 2022 with Woodland Tree Care LLC ("Woodland") to remove a tree at my residence and to grind out the remaining stump and remove all related debris. The estimated cost of completing the work was $2,200.00, which I paid in-full, in advance in order to obtain the discounted price. My primary contact at Woodland is Mr. David T***r ###-###-####. The work was scheduled to commence on 09/20/22 but Woodland failed to appear and didn't advise me that they wouldn't be coming. When I contacted Mr. T****, he told me that Woodland's bucket truck was being repaired and that the work couldn't be done without it. After several more days without being contacted by Woodland, I reached out again to Mr. T****, who gave me the same reason for not showing up. Eventually a Woodland crew arrived and removed the tree but did not grind out the stump as agreed. A member of the Woodland crew that removed the tree advised me that Woodland personnel would return on 10/03/22 to grind out the stump and remove the debris as agreed. Woodland again failed to appear on 10/03/22 and again provided no notice that they would not be. I contacted Mr. T**** and he advised me that someone from Woodland might arrive to complete the work by the end of October. I told him that timing was unacceptable because we needed the stump removed to allow for new trees to be planted. We agreed via telephone at approximately 9:40 a.m. on 10/03/22 that I would find another vendor to complete the work and that Woodland would refund the $250.00 portion of the $2,200.00 total paid that was attributable to the stump grinding and debris removal work. It is now 10/13/22 and I have not yet received the agreed-upon refund and Mr. T**** has not responded to my repeated inquiries regarding when I should expect receipt. Please contact Woodland on my behalf and urge them to honor their agreement by providing me with the described $250.00 refund. Thanks.
