At the direction of my mechanic I bought an alternator and battery from Auto Zone around Feb. After the install my dashboard engine and brake light would flicker constantly and my rpm idle would be off. My mechanic and research determined that the flashing icon was because of a battery or alternator issue. In June it was determined by the autozone worker they put a 2003 battery in my car instead of for a 2013 in which is a stronger battery. A to big of battery can 1)increase wear and tear on alternator 2) damage electrical components and fuses 3) reduced fuel efficiency. My battery was changed out after being there over an hr and Resistance from the workers because they said they was not aware of the situation but I was on the phone with Auto zone cooperate as he explained the issue about the battery and alternator. The manager refused to put in a claim for my new reinstall of a new alternator because it could damaged from the battery even with cooperate on the phone telling them. Also when the switched out the battery, the worker was so incompetent my car stopped running driving to my mechanic because they didn't fasten my terminals. I'm stuck on a main road. There has been 13 emails to cooperate about them reimbursement for my mechanic to put in a new alternator because of possible damage to the one in my car. 1st email june 4. They said regional manager would call in 2 days. He didn't call until I told the district manager I wanted to file a civil suit. This is June 13. I had no confidence in the district or regional manager so I cut the conversation short. Because the company already had been proven wrong giving me a bigger battery and reinstalling the new battery wrong and me stranded on a main road . Besides the reimbursement of the alternator install, the inconvenience of this situation is what the biggest issue is and there proffesionelism from manger ,district, regional. I tried to be patient, fair and honest with these people and the inconsiderate
