5 starsWe could not have asked for a better match between my father and his caregiver! Maureen knows dementia and my dad's moods. She is polite and engages with him and is a good advocate for his needs. I couldn't be happier with everything Maureen and FCP Live-In has done to help me and my family get through this difficult time, especially since I live out of state. Maureen also cooks, cleans and makes sure that everything is perfect and she regularly engages with my dad which helps him tremendously. Also having one caregiver has made it very easy for my father to recognize her as a friend. Maureen and our FCP field supervisor keeps us updated regularly which makes our choice in FCP Live-In the PERFECT CHOICE!Review fromJulia M.

2 starsWe used FCP from June 2023 till March 2024. This was for my 97 year old mother who has dementia. This was to be a long term case. The intake person, supervisor and anyone in the office we has contact with were all professional. We had 8 caregiver changes during this time, almost all due to staffing issues. The quality of almost all of these individuals and lack of experience and training in the care of individuals was lacking. There were many instances of lack of respect for the home, wastefulness, and inattention to the client.
The TV ads are not what we experienced. Up until the last caregiver, there was no consistency.
I would hesitate to use this company or recommend it to anyone. It very much seemed like this company was recruiting bodies to fill slots with no regard. You may contact me at any time.Review fromLUIS C

Unqualified or non committed aides, poor communication of client needs from onboarding staff to actual caregivers and many aides who are unwilling to effectively communicate with family. I had 4 aides in a 6 day period due to issues on FCP’s side and not per my request. I would not recommend this company.

Dear ******* Thank you for your feedback. We look at every review and take client issues very seriously as we strive to be the best at what we do. All of our caregivers have years of hands-on experience, go through a skills evaluation and vetting process, and attend hours of orientation before being placed on their first case. Every client has a Field Supervisor who is responsible for addressing client issues and concerns, as well as monitoring the quality of care. We understand that not all clients and caregivers connect. Any issues with a caregiver are remediated by the Field Supervisor as soon as possible. All communication can be relayed to the caregiver AND Field Supervisor, so there are multiple lines of communication at all times. Upon looking into this matter, there were 3 caregivers that provided service within a span of 10 days, until the last caregiver, who did caregiving for your mom for 21 days before the termination of services. One caregiver had an emergency and left prematurely for personal reasons, and another caregiver had an allergic reaction to something in the home. Though many clients give high praise to our caregivers, issues do arise, and FCP Live-In always tries to rectify these situations as soon as possible. The feedback you provided to us was that you were very happy with the services we provided and that the last caregiver was an excellent fit for your mom. 4 starsThe young man that took care of my father named Ben was outstanding. He was very attentive to my father and took wonderful care of my father and did everything we asked of him. He has a great personality and is very friendly. He was always professional and was great at what he did. He always put my father first. 4 starsFCP caregivers were hired to take care of my brother who has MS for approximately 8 months.
During this time frame six different caregivers stayed with my brother at his home and took care of his many needs.
Overall we are satisfied with their empathy, skills and attention to my brother during this difficult time.
Their supervisor payed close attention to their work ethic and needs by text and phone with me and kept me informed of any changes that were needed or observed.

In particular, the case supervisor and caregiver were exemplary in helping our family and elder loved one! Kudos to Cheri and Aisha in particular. 100% dedication and always open communication. Truly the best!
From an administrative standpoint, I'd recommend limiting the number of office staff engaging with the family. It makes it too confusing who does what, especially when we need help. It should be triaged to a central point of contact from the moment of signing on. Secondly, the switch out care process could use improvement. We had lack of coverage between caregivers for far too long.
Overall, we are very pleased with FCP and have already recommended them to several. They are a gem for families wanting to keep their loved ones at home.
