    On July 24,2023 (Monday), our party of 6 adults went to dine in around late lunch 2:30pm ish…we paid our meals in 3 separate credit cards, mine was charged $100 and the balance was split into the my friend Tania and her fiancée Kelly. Upon getting the checks, all 3 of us didn’t notice that the restaurant already included the 18% or 20% tip totaled to $57 plus change. And so I noticed on the receipt in the evening and hurriedly called Outriggers restaurant back and was told to come back that night to retrieve the $60 cash but unfortunately I wasn’t available that night coz was scheduled to work. So I tried going back in person to the restaurant like 2 days later and still no luck, and to find and so was advised to call the following morning to speak with Heather (one of the owner or manager) and she verbally stated to me over the phone that: “that why am I trying to get a refund and my other friend Tania fave the tip but she shouldn’t be meddling with our business me and my friend tania. Since I was very persistent with my request, she finally mention over the phone that she will refund the $60 few days later since they were busy on weekends so like she would charged back the $60 to my credit card. And so I waited waited but didn’t see on my state ment . Obviously, she broke her promise/commitment and so I kept on calling the restaurant then finally I spoke with the owner and was threatened if I don’t stop calling, they are gonna call a cop??? Since then I stopped calling and so I discussed with my friend Tania that I will just have dispute my share of $100 in my credit card and now the bank is trying to charged me back coz they said it was a valid charge but because of the nasty and immoral thing the merchant is trying to do, so now am seeking your organization help to resolve this tiny matter of mine.

    Why do we need to pay almost $120 for tip ??? It’s they charged so pricey and was forced to put the tip portion on the bill which we overlooked. Heather would mentioned that the $60 cask was already in the hands of the young server, no way to retrieve it back , bla bla..and all these time, she was thinking that I was the one who wanted the money without her knowing this is with the knowledge of my friend tania who personally handed the $60 to the server. Regardless, we need to get justice in here .
