Student registered with school for CT Real Estate Principles and Practice. Class was delayed due to instructor stating she was waiting for new edition of books. When class started, she disclosed that she had surgery. 3 students were in class including myself. 1 student withdrew from the class. Instructor was unprofessional and verbal abusive to students. Students were not allowed to ask questions and limited to breaks. If you used the bathroom, she would ask if you had bladder issues. Instructor did not allow cell phone usage or tardiness, but would often take calls in the class, phone would ring, and take breaks to facilitate exams. She was also late to class and even a no show. She cancelled class for personal reasons including the cleaning of her house in Rhode Island. The other student and myself needed to miss class once. All other times were caused by the instructor. The instructor often made rude remarks about the age of the other student and made reference to both our marital status. She refused to teach concepts of the class including the math. When asked she indicated that you had to practice and learn the math on your own. Off camera, none of the students understood the math, and quit the class as a result. The other student had resources to assist with the math that I did not. When I contacted other schools, I was informed that the math was a part of their courses. When I attempted to withdraw from the class, she informed that she would not give me my money but agreed to tutor hour before class. After she forgot 2 times, she finally met with me but only 10 minutes before class that she spent answering her phone. I completed the hours without learning about the math. Due to her cancelling the class, the class was extended past the original date of completion which also extended the exam dates. I scheduled the exam with her showing up 2 times and she forgot both times. Then offered i could take it later but my availability was limited due to new schedule.
