Total disaster dealing with this company! Epoxy coating failed 2X (charged for installation twice) & now, ultimately for safety, liability & resale value, we are having the floor totally ripped out & concrete installed. The initial floor was installed the summer of 2023. At first we thought leaves were blowing in & creating stains on the floor. We came to realize that it was rust stains erupting from under the surface & we were also getting bulged areas where water would ooze out if pressed. We contacted the owner & asked him to come out & examine things the following late spring. He never did, but stated they probably didn't put down a strong enough moisture barrier, so he recommend his crew take up the coating & apply a new one with a stronger barrier. Really baffled why they don't use the strongest barrier in the first place? The crew came out & ripped up the new floor in easy & quick order & reinstalled the same day. Within 2 weeks the same issues began all over again. Finally the owner came out with a Rep from the company who makes or supplies the coating. They say it's the first time they've ever witnessed anything like this, to this extreme...Saying we must have some underlying plumbing or drainage issue that was creating hydrostatic pressure that was causing water damage to the floor. They said this is not covered in the "lifetime" warranty. We had a plumber come & assess any potential issues, which there were none. We argued that if the first floor failed, why did they ever install another, at an additional cost to us? He claims he was taking a loss & doing us a favor on the second installation. We paid $3700 for the first job & $1400 for the second. A total waste of time & money for a floor that isn't safe or viable. Had we known the 2nd application would remotely run the risk of failure, we would've never considered it & not wasted the money. Minimal compensation was offered, which we'll see if we receive. He has blocked us on FB since our negative review
