    In 2021 I contracted with the Elevator Service Company (ESC)
    to install an elevator
    For my disabled wife in our home.
    Following incessant delays on March 17
    2023 The ** state elevator inspector refused to approve the elevator installation as ESC had installed the required machinery in a room that did not meet state requirements for an elevator machine room.

    The work Mr. ****** identifies in his complaint has nothing
    to do with the Scope of Work Elevator Service Company, Inc. was contracted for
    and/or provided. The contract Mr. ****** entered into with Elevator Service
    Company, Inc. specifically identifies the work Mr. ****** refers to as "work by
    others." In fact, subsequent to filing his complaint with the Better Business
    Bureau, Mr. ****** has contracted with a general contractor to provide a larger
    door for the machine room. Again, this is outside the scope of work as
    described in our contract.  As soon as Mr. ******** general
    contractor completes the adjustment to the door to the machine room, we will
    request a re-inspection and turn over the unit for use once it has passed the
    inspection and payment for the final installment is received by Elevator
    Service Company. As of this date, we have not been informed that the work has
    been completed.Tell us why here...
