Hun Glass failed to finish a steel and glass door install and left the home unfinished, in a dangerous state, and with a great amount of damage after we paid $30,000. Hun Glass, left excessive gaps between the steel frame (where little fingers can become stuck), loose magnets, screws hanging out of brand new woodwork, and globs of waterproof silicone damage to our interior doors. Numerous contract professionals have labeled his job as a cover-up and unsafe. When we told him he cannot cover up the mistakes, he went silent after first trying to convince us that he can just slap on metal pieces to cover up the measurement mistakes. Hun glass provided the measurements and the product and it was made incorrectly, yet he knowingly installed the doors. He admitted he knew it would be a problem when he looked at the drawings again. We waited for the doors for over 8 months. We have tried to contact him numerous times since and have been met with silence. The owner took photos of the doors from far away to try to hide the fact that he used silicone globs meant for weatherproofing outside doors to cover 1/2-1 inch gaps in the incorrectly sized doors, very expensive doors. We plan to bring a lawsuit against him and the door company in the coming weeks. Both the door company (All the Details, Inc.) and Hun Glass have now gone completely silent and refuse to fix the problem or stand by their work. All communication has been documented, including their admissions of errors and many conversations. We've paid nearly $30,000 for these doors and now he has caused over $20,000 in damage to have the doors removed, the silicone scrapped out, the floors and molding repaired. The door openings and floors just underwent a renovation prior to ordering these doors.

we did this installation for *** windows.
we measured the openings and the doors came as per drawings.
the client was not happy with the 1/2" around the doors but it clearly shows in the drawings what they approved !
the client started complaining about the gap when we did the first door installation. her husband told her to check the drawings it shows the gap.
we installed the send floor doors first, secured it completely only thing we did not do the caulking around the door. these doors were working as they should. No loose screws or loose shims.

we continued with the downstairs doors finished them completely they were working perfect adjusted every part of the doors, adjusted the drop seal to clear the carpet.
it was 7 pm when we finished with the door's downstairs.  we agreed to come back to finish the door upstairs on Saturday.
when i came back to finish Saturday the clint was not letting us to work on the doors. they was telling me they will sue us and they want the doors removed. i contacted the company hired me for  this install and they told me to not to respond to any calls or text from the client until we figure out what  is going on.
we did everything to complete this work to the client liking but it was not possible. we offered a metal plate to cover the gap but they refused. in the drawing it not even showing the caulk what we did on our own to close the gap. the caulk we used is a general purpose calk see attached link .
