      This year was my first time needing to purchase a pair of corrective eye glasses. After an exam with a nice doctor on 29Jun24, he took me to the front desk & stated, to the employees "you didn't tell me she had a plan." He advised, they would be able to assist with any questions. Prior to any purchase, I asked several questions. One of which was if I could buy my own frames? The response was " no" from 1 employee. Unbeknownst to me, she was trying to upsell. When the glasses were ready, I picked them up on 13Jul. I again asked that they clarify many questions I had on 29Jun. After, asking again the same receptionist who told me untruths on 29Jun now had different responses. At this time, I would have taken this as a loss however, in addition to looking at the frame¬ liking them, the disrespect and extreme unprofessionalism that was given to me; I was not able to move forward with this purchase. I stated, I did not want the glasses and asked that they again go over the a refund policy. I then advised them of refund policy stated to me on 29Jun. There was "NO" mention of taking these frames home to "try out" they never left the office

      The other front employee called the ******** office & with a manger. She was asked what the script prescription was, 1.50/1.75. They agreed to refund my money & advised I have to contact my vision provider. I advised I would call my credit card company. Again, there was never a discussion about taking the glasses home to try out. I should have gotten names. I did not think there would be a problem with the refund as I did not take the glasses, a manager was called, I called my credit card company and my vision care plan. My vision care plan, called EyeCare Associates while I was on the phone and they confirmed I did not take the glasses. therefore my vision care plan immediately refunded they cost to my plan. They are fighting my credit card company for $248. This was my first and last time visiting this establishment.

      We have no problem refunding ******* ******* money. We intended on doing so. The only problem is she disbuted her credit card payment. We are unable to do that until the credit card company lets us know their decistion. The glasses were ordered and made for her. She came into pick them up and did not want them. At that point she ordered a custom pair of glasses we spent money to make. Again she absolutly did not take them and we will give her back her money. However I can not refund her twice if the credit card already did.

      This is untru. This company fought me and the credit card company since June. Refused to give me a refund. I finally got tired of fighting for my refund in oct. I would be happy to forward the response the sent to my credit card company. Why fight the refund from June to October when a refund was promised in June and the glasses never left the office. I will forward their 1st response.

      We are more than willing to refund the $248.20, but our credit card processor indicated that ********* credit card company issued a temporary refund. Once we stopped the dispute, the refund remained on the credit card. If this was not the case, all we need is an email, or notification, from the credit card company stating that they did not issue Carolyn a permanent refund. From there we would issue a refund check. Thank you.
