We received an in ground pool that started last May. When the filter was connected to the pool it has never run correctly. I have contacted them multiple times . They come out and get the skimmer lines working right and then two days later or the next day, the skimmer line have almost no movement. We paid for the oxenganted pool pump filtration system and we have bee running the pool as a full chlorine system. We clean the filter once a week and add the DE to the system. I would like to have the filter replaced with a sand filter, since there is something wrong with it and they won’t come and fix it. There is nothing wrong with the lines since the last time they were out, they had them spinning correctly. I do owe them a balance of about 2000.00 out of 110,000.00 that they were paid. They said they will not come out due to the balance. They are also saying it’s not covered. I had them come out 2 times last summer and I have called every month this summer. When they finally came out the last week of July Chris said that both issues were covered under warranty (the filter and replacing lights). I then received a bill for over three hundred dollars. I just want my pool filtration system to work correctly, which it NEVER has and if it can’t be, the to replace it with a sand filter.

Ms. ******* mentions the “skimmer lines not working.”  She is referring to “low suction pressure,” which in her case was from the filter being dirty and needing to be cleaned. Cleaning the filter is the homeowner’s responsibility and is considered routine maintenance and not covered under any warranty. Cleaning the filter is normal, and many external factors must be considered when determining how often the filter needs to be cleaned.

Ms. ******* mentions she paid for an “oxygenated pool pump filtration system.”  To be clear, she has a “*** *** ****”, a separate device from the pump and the filter. It is a sanitation system that significantly reduces the need for Chlorine in the pool. The does only requires a residual amount of Chlorine to operate correctly.

Ms. ******* mentions that “both issues were covered under warranty, the filter, and the lights and that she was charged over $300. We came out on 7/25/22 and worked for 1 hour (a charge she was informed of = $319.05, which she has not paid) and found no issues other than a dirty filter. On the same day, we did replace a light, which was covered under warranty, and was at no charge.

Ms. ******* did call us and wanted to hire us to come out and look at her pool. We explained that the service would be chargeable, and due to her current past-due balance from 2 non-paid invoices, we would not be coming to work until her balance was paid. She explained that she didn’t have the money to pay us. Current owes $1,954.00 for Invoice # ****** for Extra Material (Invoice Date 8/8/21) and $319.05 (Invoice # ****** 7/25/22).

We want to offer to clear out the invoice for $319.05 as a customer courtesy in good faith, leaving her just owing $1,954.00. We would also offer to come out and give her a free look at her equipment to advise her if any service is needed, either chargeable or warranty.
