      Do not think of joining this gym. Have been a member for almost a year, joined for the classes which was the top tier membership. Slowly the classes were wittled away and then the canceled all classes with 0 notice last Thursday, 1/9/25. Took multiple days to cancel AND despite violating their contract by canceling the classes with zero notice they still are holding us to 30 day cancelation so yet another month of fees. NEVER enter into a contract or join this gym. To say nothing how they treated their instructiors which I can only assume are contractors because they gave them 0 notice as well they were losing their jobs as they canceled classes.

      DO NOT ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH THIS BUSINESS. You will never be able to cancel it. When my 17 year old went as a guest of a friend, they had him sign a contract. It was his understanding that it was monthly based and he could cancel at any time as long as he paid the maintenance fee of $53.16. He did not use the gym after that one time. He tried to cancel online and did not get a response. He tried by phone but was told to come in person. He was then told to do it online. We again sent request through the Club 24 website and got no response. Once we paid the maintenance fee, we tried to cancel again. Response was : After reviewing your account it looks like you are locked into an agreement until 09/12/2024. The earliest you can begin the cancellation process would be 30 days before your expiration date. We waited until middle of August to try canceling through email again and by calling (told to come in-person), went in-person on 8/27/24 and was told it was taken care of. On 8/28, we then received an email saying they needed to verify full name and date of birth. On 8/29, we received an email stating that instead of canceling, we should consider freezing our account. I immediately called Club 24 and was told there was a series of steps to take through the email until we would need to sign and get a confirmation before canceling membership.

      I canceled my membership 5-months ago, on January 4, 2024, in person at the ********** CT location.
      Due to the 30-day notice requirement, the ********** CT employee asked me if I wanted to pay the remaining amount at once or if I would prefer to wait until those payments come out. I chose to pay them on the spot.
      My card continues to be charged to this day. I receive calls saying that my membership payments are overdue. I have spoken with staff at the ********** and *********** locations at least half a dozen times asking for assistance in this. I continue being charged.
      I haven't gone into any of the locations since that day to insinuate any interest in continuing my membership.

      Have been a member for over 13 years. Always clean and of course available 24 hours a day. The associates that work there are always helpful and friendly. Especially Brandee.

      . I was called by club 24 and solicited for a new membership. I agreed under the sales pressure, I realized I didn’t want it. I tried to cancel I sent several emails, but they did not respond to any I sent several the first day in and I sent emails afterwards no response. I called after several days and spoke with. Manager they denied my emails and they said I couldn’t cancel it unless I came in person. I thought that was strange because they didn’t need my signature in person in order to take the money out of my account They had no trouble taking money out of my account without my signature. But they wouldn’t let me cancel unless I came in person and gave my signature which is kind of odd. The rules seem to be made in their favor.
      In the end, I felt bullied into the membership and such negative resistance to canceling it. It was not a pleasant experience or
      comfortable with the level of pressure they put on you is unfair practice I would not recommend club 24 to anybody. Do not give them your account number. Once you give them your account number they have you over a barrel they will keep coming up with reasons why you can’t cancel your membership or you owe them money, so please do not give them , your debit information if you’re at all unsure about joining. I try to cancel and I was met with such resistance that I caved in and said all right I’ll do a month.
      Due to the way I felt taken advantage of and of bullied into the membership. I did finally sign a cancellation and I’m just hoping they honor it and they give me no more trouble about canceling. I feel they may try to take money out of my account. If I don’t keep an eye on them and I don’t like that feeling I like dealing with businesses, you can trust and you don’t have to worry about being taken advantage of.

      They NEVER clean their equipment nor remind patrons to clean after themselves. The management seem to “have an answer for everything” when issues are brought up, yet they never get fixed.
      They are currently (2/1 as of writing) in month 3 of a seemingly endless remodel that started before thanksgiving. They even posted to their social media pages that they are all new, meanwhile there is half built or defunct equipment littered around, even blocking other functional machines. Besides being off putting to the patrons, is also against code for Fire Safety and OSHA.
      They have not returned back to 24 hour service even after 3 years at this point, meanwhile the place gets more crowded with kids because of their fake “no contract” deals. Everytime a deal ends, the same one seems to start up again. Alot of the old staff from years back left because they were fed up, and so are the patrons. Instead of the staff now reminding people to clean their machines or answer question, they sit on the floor and chat with other kids about nonsense, while taking up machines from others who actually want to use them.
      I would go anywhere else, but this location is just to close to home to not use, and i need a gym to get in my exercise.
      If you have any other options, go somewhere else.

      We have been scammed by this place. Took our 15 year old  has never been in a gym to get a membership. A simple member ship with. Free training and pay for some extra training sessions. WE DID NOT SIGN THE CONTRACT. THEY HAD OUR 15 YEAR OLD SIGN IT AND HE IS UNDERAGE. THEY DID NOT CALL US TO VERIFY. OUR SON WOUlD NEVER UNDERSTAND THAT FINE PRINT. DISGUSTED IN THE SERVICE AND NOW SEE ALL THE HORRIBLE REVIEWS AFTER THE FACT. dealing with Isaiah was the most disappointing thing as he scammed us never once verbally said - this is a 6 months membership- twice a week training for 80.00 a week. Total BS and I am sure they know they lied as this seems to be an issue with others that we have spoken to. Now our son will not go back and we are being charged for a contract that was not signed by us. Totally against ethics and the way a business should be run. As a business owner for many years- we know how to treat clients and this place is a joke. Liars and scammed.
