  I would highly recommend Tom Prete and the team a TRP Construction for all of your building needs. They recently remodeled two floors in my condo. I had never done this before and I was very anxious about the procedure and having workers in my home, but they made it very comfortable. Tom and Christina listened carefully to what I wanted and quickly came back with a well-organized plan, dealt patiently with the condo association's requirements (not an easy task), obtained permits, and got to work. On the first floor they removed a knee wall, added crown molding, updated the lighting and other electrical elements, and painted. In the basement, they added a new bathroom with shower, a laundry area, a living area, and a bedroom. I love my new home! The quality of the work is excellent and Tom and the team prioritized communication, were courteous, punctual, and meticulous in cleaning up after themselves. I hope to work with them again in the future.

  TRP did a complete kitchen renovation for us and the challenges they faced were substantial. We have an older house with uneven ceilings, our floors needed to be redone, our island was a solid 10 feet long, and our family decided to stay in the house during construction. If that wasn't enough, we were also needing to install bookcases in the adjoining living room, fix a leaky shower on the second floor that had put a giant stain in the living room ceiling, and then add shoe molding to the entire first floor, on account of some poor planning from a prior general contractor.
  We agreed on a start and end date, and Tom and his team (and he has a wonderful, experienced team) delivered on the completion before the end date. All told, our kitchen reno and related work in the dining room took 11 weeks. Tom was at our worksite nearly everyday, even on the weekends, checking in on details big and small, and he always put "the right people, in the right place, at the right time," as he is fond of saying.
  This was an education for us in what a full service contractor business looks like when it has a mature operations structure, with stellar office staff and stellar craftsmen. In addition, we just really liked Tom's demeanor, communication style, and evident care for our house and family.
  Our project was a big investment, and we could not be happier that we put our trust in Tom.

  We engaged with Tom and his team at TRP Construction for a whole house remodel including structurally changing the footprint of our kitchen. We instantly liked Tom from our first meeting, and we just knew that our home would be in good hands. Our project took approximately 10 months to complete and Tom was there for every step of the way. Of course with a job of this size, unexpected issues are to be expected, but Tom handled everything with ease and grace. He made everything possible to make sure that our vision came to fruition.
  I cannot give enough accolades to Tom and TRP Construction. His team embodies everything you could ever dream about in a general contractor: professional, prompt, honest, trustworthy, responsive, and present on the job site. I would and have recommended him to friends and family.

  TRP Construction exceeded all our expectations and created the home my wife had dreamed of out of our neglected, twenty-five year old raised ranch. Selecting the right General Contractor is crucial when planning a renovation. In our searches we found ourselves returning to TRP Construction time and again. Tom Prete’s customer reviews really convinced us to select TRP Construction. The reviews, and, of course, the images of his work. Tom and his Designer, Chris, worked with my wife as she meticulously explained what she wanted in the whole-house renovation. My wife, Barbara’s vision of her home was realized as TRP Construction transformed our sad little raised ranch into the home of her dreams. Tom Prete, his designer, Chris, and his entire extraordinary staff transformed our drab, neglected twenty-five year old raised ranch into something truly special. The project called for a new roof, new windows, doors and siding, redesigned and renovated kitchen, redesigned and renovated master bathroom, and entirely new bathroom downstairs, new appliances, new lighting fixtures, new flooring throughout, new paint throughout, two new Ring cameras with dual motion-activated flood lights, new deck, new wood-burning stove, and opening up the living space by removing walls. Not only were Tom's staff superb, but every single contractor and sub-contractor were fantastic. Every vendor he recommended exceeded all our expectations. While we weren't Tom's only clients, WE FELT LIKE WE WERE HIS ONLY CLIENTS. We simply cannot say enough about the professionalism and workmanship of TRP Construction. We would gladly welcome any and all of his workers and staff into our home as honored guests. The really strange thing about the entire renovation project is that, now that the work is completed, we kind of miss them all.   An Amazing Professional & Trustworthy Contractor. TRP Construction and Tom Prete have completely gutted and rebuilt a kitchen, a bath and a master bath, plus renovated two other baths for us. The quality of the work in the kitchen and the 4 bathrooms is beyond superb, and to exacting professional standards. The end results in every single room are simply amazing. That alone is reason to hire TRP Construction. But the real reason is that Tom made renovating our home fun. Our three-bathroom project took approximately three months. Every single workday (Mon-Fri), Tom let us know who was coming to the door – and every single time someone showed up. The specific trades were uniformly timely, polite and expert craftsmen. You get to know someone pretty well through two major renovations – one of which was on-going where you live. Tom Prete and his team are what all contractors should be – professional, timely, honest, creative (in the best possible way) – while delivering a superb level of workmanship. I cannot recommend TRP Construction enough.

  We would completely recommend TRP to anyone! From the beginning we felt secure with Tom and his team. Tom and Christina took our ideas and shaped the plans perfectly. We had our entire first floor redone. We lived through the construction in the house which was interesting with 2 kids, a dog and my husband and I working from home. The process was so enjoyable. We loved Tom's team and all the subs brought in. We lived w/ these guys from 7:30 - 5:00 everyday and they became part of our family. We loved looking at the changes and finds everyday. We experienced a few changes and issues but they were handled professionally and with care. I would again recommend TRP to anyone!

  We can’t say enough good things about TRP Construction! Tom, Christina, Bob, Ben, and the rest of the crew really went above and beyond for our first floor remodel (bathroom, laundry/pantry room, custom seating/storage bench in kitchen, living room with gas fireplace, custom mantel and bookshelves). We are so pleased with the end result and look forward to employing them in the future for more projects. Each team member was prompt and very communicative. They were all respectful of our wishes and were quick to address any questions that we had. Christina and Tom really made it easy to plan with their list of vendors, and the custom work crafted by Bob is just stunning. We really appreciate their attention to detail. We get so many compliments on everything, but especially on our custom bookshelves and beautiful mantel! We highly recommend this team for any home project!
